Sands Hotel and Spa

The rooms were beautiful. I loved the nod to Moroccan design. The wall art was fun and campy. The pool and lounge area was comfy and cute. All the staff were kind and super helpful. It was a quiet and calm place to unwind exactly what I needed.

This place is gorgeous! Everything was beautifully designed and well thought-out. I appreciated the nice smelling diptyque toiletries and the cute bar in the room. I particularly liked how the accessibility features (grip bar, shower stool) were thoughtfully integrated and beautiful, rather than being an afterthought. The bed was also super cozy and the room smelled great! The staff was so kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back one day.

Sands Hotel & Spa exceeded all of our expectations! My boyfriend and I stayed here for a staycation, and it was such a beautiful and relaxing experience. The hotel has so much charm, the rooms were spotless, and the entire property feels peaceful and luxurious without being over the top. The staff was wonderful, and we left wishing we had booked another night. We loved it so much that we're already returning again this month. We can't wait to be back! ✨

I’m writing this review almost 2 months later, but let me tell you — my stay here was absolutely fantastic. I’m terrible at remembering to leave reviews, but this place truly deserved one. There was a lovely woman with a beautiful Southern accent at the front desk who I believe was the manager, and she was an absolute gem. She made our stay feel so welcoming from the moment we arrived. Every amenity was thoughtful and elevated — from the free sunscreen and complimentary Moroccan mint iced tea by the pool to the amazing cocktails and overall atmosphere. Everything about this hotel felt luxurious, relaxing, and genuinely well cared for. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous, and honestly, this was one of the best hotel bathrooms I’ve ever had. The huge soaking tub was incredible, and I absolutely loved the entire stay. It felt relaxing, upscale, and comfortable all at the same time. It was also truly dog-friendly, not just “technically” pet friendly. My dog was welcomed so warmly, and that meant so much to me. I absolutely loved every moment of my stay. This hotel is a gem, and I cannot wait to be back.
