Pine Mountain Ski & Golf Resort

Horrible! Drove since 8am with dog in car. Arrived at 330pm and went to see when we could check in. Was told we were too early (336) and wouldnt even tell is if we were able to check in at 4. Literally made us wait 22 minutes plus additional 15 waiting in line to be told our 4pm reservations weren't going to be ready until 6pm. At 630pm Maggie at the front told us we may not be able to check in until about 930 or 10pm because cabins weren't ready. She was inhospitable and actually walked away from the desk at one point for at least 10 minutes to 'collect herself'. No real answers, no offering of dinner, water, NOTHING. We ended up scrambling and having to find a whole different hotel to stay at for the holiday weekend. We had our dog with us, giving an extra roadblock and had to stay in a hotel that was not up to our standards because we were stuck and actually ended up paying more in fees and dog fees. It was a HORRIBLE experience and completely ruined our fist day as we weren't even able to check in anywhere until 730pm after starting our travel day at 8am. What a poor excuse for a hotel and the staff is completely incapable of handling issues. You don't walk away leaving a group of 12+ people trying to check in. She definitely needs more training or a different job. Worst experience ever.

Everything was great with the exception of some stains on our sheets when we arrived. Other than that, the room was very clean, and everything was good.

Unfortunately the cleaning staff did not have rooms and cabins available for check-in and many guests were delayed check in on the forth of July weekend for 3-4 hours. The front desk clerk Working was left on her own by all other staff to navigate some angry and unreasonable guests, not fair to her as she had no answers or management on site and no control over the fact that the cleaning staff didn’t show up and we’re not answering their phones. Once we were checked in we were provided restaurant vouchers.

Nice place to stay, with beautiful surroundings. Sports Bar is a plus, and the breakfast was excellent!

We had a great stay in a wonderful 2-BR cabin right off of a ski slope. The cabins are really well designed and new! It had a huge walk-in shower. There were large flatscreen TV’s on the wall in the bedrooms which we really enjoyed having. It had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee bar. It is a short walk to the fabulous golf course right down the road. My husband and daughter loved the swimming pool, which was nice and warm. The restaurant in the main lodge was awesome. We will definitely be back!

One of our rooms was spacious, clean and all mechanical working properly. The second room, which I stayed in, had a space heater on the floor and a window air conditioner (which was noisy and not keeping the room cool). Can tell attempted to updated the room, but it is an older resort and they took a cheap approach when remodeling the older rooms. Bathroom was not very usable, had a pedal sink, no where to place anything, walkway into the bathroom had a incline I stumbled over the first time. It is not marked and not really visible. Shower had cracked tile and patched areas, very low shower head. They do have newer cottages to stay at but would need to walk uphill to get to the pool, hot tub, bar, dining area, which is a draw back for some. I would not want to stay in the hotel area again, might consider the cottages, due to them being new and more modern.

The hot tub, pool and sauna were wonderful.

Beds are very hard and uncomfortable. Shower and toilet room to small need to walk into shower to close door to use bathroom. Shower liner to short water ends up all over floor making a huge wet mess. Had to pay a fee to check in 2 hours early. Had to a service fee per night for booked thru an outside booking site but when I booked thought I was booking directly thru the resort. I did not use Expedia. Location wasn’t great. I will not be returning very disappointed in this resort.

A few months back we drove 5 hours to stay at this beautiful resort. After being checked in for about an hour we decided to go look at the pool. My 5 year old daughter was so excited to go swimming that she was skipping down the hallway. After we got back to the room & started getting ready for the pool, we received a phone call on our room phone asking if we had a child in the room. First off what a weird question. After responding yes, we were told that my child was being obnoxious & that we needed to keep it down because the owners were staying there & complained. I was absolutely flabbergasted. I thought my husband was joking at first. My child skipped maybe 10 steps down the hallway & that is considered obnoxious? It also was early in the evening & the resort was not busy whatsoever. We immediately packed up our stuff & went to another hotel. We were shocked & couldn't believe what had happened. You'd think the owners of the hotel would want a positive customer experience. We will never go back.

Location! We were there for the ski jump competition and it was so convenient! A bit overpriced for the accommodations

Cons: cabin was not clean. Every surface dusty, dead bugs in corners, mirror wasn’t cleaned, floor had dirt and black hairs all over it (we both don’t have black hair or pets with us so it wasn’t from us.) The bed and towels were clean which I was thankful for but everything else could have used some more attention.

I love being on site to enjoy the hill without driving.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Rooms were tight quarters with those beautiful log bed frames. Only 3 of us and hard to move at times. Other than that, great little getaway for my boys to ski and kick it poolside

Nice room. Had balcony looking over ski hill. No carpeting so felt cleaner. Great salt water pool, sauna & hot tub!
