Motel 6 Issaquah, WA - Seattle - East

Room 119 was absolutely disgusting. One bed is right up against the curtains which looked like they had blood on them. There was visible mold around the door and window frames which they tried to paint over. It was July 4 weekend and the motel was sold out so we left and had to book another hotel last minute which made for an extremely expensive weekend.

The room was so so for cleanliness. The manager was very rude at check in. We arrived a hour early to see if we could check in manager said for $40 extra for an early fee check in. We needed to find a Walmart or Target to pick up a few snacks so we opted out of the early checkin fee. Was told to come back at 2:30 and we could check in then with no additional fee. We went back at 2:30 and was any where from a 1/2 to a hour before we could check in at that time. I went back at 3 and I was told another 1/2 so asked what happened to the rooms I was offered to check into if I payed the early checkin fee of $40. The young fello working the desk at that time was confused about my question. The manager then came out of the back and was mad about my question so he took over and was so rude the whole time about our check in. I definitely will never go back. I do hope the higher ups at this motel or chain will view the videos at the time of our check in to witness what he said and how he said it.

I have stayed here previously and the area was darker. They did some improvements by adding lighting around the whole property & made around the trimming of the building.

I requested a refund for the remainder of my days and moved out in the morning. I’m never going to stay in a motel 6 again. It brought back trauma of staying in them in my teens and twenties when I didn’t have money. But now I do and it’s worth the extra $50 to stay at a regular hotel. Even in a beautiful and safe area like Issaquah, right off I-90, I felt like it was a pocket of the Twilight Zone.

Basic but clean and comfortable motel. We were in a room above the electrical substation so there was a constant hum and vibrations all night.

The location felt safe and within walking distance to plenty food options,space to walk the dog and get fuel for the car. Plenty of parking spaces and room was clean. The room we were given was a little warm, the ac seems to be blowing warm air only, but there's is a fan in the room and it helps.

Traveling as a solo female I felt safe and had no concerns. Staff was extremely helpful offering restaurant suggestions. It was the fastest hotel check-in I have ever experienced which was wonderful! Room was clean. Beds weren't amazing but it is Motel 6 and not the Hilton so make sure to manage your expectations. Property was clean and kids were enjoying the pool. Would definitely stay here again.

Great room at a great price but the WiFi is absolutely terrible. Could barely get the tv to stay connected.

The staff member did their job, but they were not very cordial or welcoming. The room was clean, but there are so few amenities. They don't even supply kleenex (facial tissues). The front bulding I stayed in only had one set of stairs that was shared by the second building. I am surprised that this would even pass building codes. And there isn't a single parking space near that set of stairs that isn't a handicapped space.
