SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Jackson

Price was pretty Cheap...However the cleanliness of the room was to e desired. I picked this place based on the price and the reviews. Who Wrote Them? They said clean Rooms and Food was great. Well, my room was not that clean. Baseboards in Bathroom area including around sink were dirty. Walking on Floor felt dirty. No soap in the sink area only in shower. Outside around all entrances was littered with cigarette butts, dental picks, litter. I will probably not stay at one of these places again. Too dirty.

Well priced. There was an odor in the room we were first given. They gave us a different room without any problem. It was fine. Breakfast was limited but sufficient. Comfy beds. It was pouring down rain & we had to climb outside stairs (which were covered)to get to the room but there's not much they can do about that. No elevator. Would stay again.

The place was run down there was alot of issues with pool that looked dangerous. The breakfast was disgusting and staff not friendly at all will never stay again.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Just wish there had been enough towels since we had more than 2 travelers. There was no extra bedding in the room for the sleep sofa. Othwrwise, it was a pleasant night's stay.

The property is not what appears in the photos online. The owner was very rude, the front desk clerk stayed on a call for five minutes before helping me. The pool was green and dirty. The bathroom tub had mold all around the tub. The locals live out of the hotel, some with pets. I asked for a refund because the pool water was green, we had 8 children that wanted to swim and the pool water was toxic, we had no choice but to check-in and stay. We booked two nights but only could bare one night. The hotel owner is very rude and non understanding of why we wanted a refund. The photos are very inaccurate on the website. The owner said he did not care about me posting pictures or posting a review. We booked 7 rooms of the nastiness. It’s located on the lower income side, there are much better hotels within a mile to two miles of this hotel.

Was ok Our rooms weren't close. The bathroom and shower was dirty or appeared to be. Room had a scented smell like perfume.

Was mostly clean and comfortable The entry floor area was in poor condition. Very soft as the sub floor was quite weak, sank when I walked on it and broken in 1 particular area. Someone 100 pounds heavier could easily step in areas and go right through the floor. The bathroom glass block window had no covering making it very bright all night. The shower needs work too. Mold was growing on the ceiling tiles, paint peeling off the fiberglass surround, shower head was so tight to move im sure for some time that previous people had to stand against the wall to get water on them. I was able to move it so I didn't have to do that. I know all this because I've been a remodeling contractor for 40 years. Lastly, this had been my 11th night on the road, it was less than average and yet the most expensive one I stayed in. It was not money well spend.

Disappointing

Had to wait for the man working to come to the lobby, another lady was already there waiting as well. Our room was ok, nice floors and very comfortable beds. base boards and doors were pretty dirty. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner, the ones supplied are extremely tiny. It was a good place to sleep for the night with our dogs. Very reasonable pet fee compared to other places which are a total rip off. Overall pretty good for what we needed.
