Tru by Hilton Jacksonville South Mandarin

The room I had was very clean, the lobby was warm and inviting. I would recommend staying here the next time you are in the Jacksonville FL area.

Great for a night stop

Hotel is in excellent condition and has a friendly and efficient staff. We were even able to check in an hour early, which was much appreciated. Recommend this hotel if you are in Jacksonville area and need a clean, quiet and nice place to stay. Love that the rooms are not carpeted.

The 4th floor smelled like dogs, so with my allergies it was somewhat uncomfortable walking in the hallway.

Nice and clean My TV would not play when I tried to play it. It was not connected to the internet.

Great no problems

To be fair, the customer service was genuinely good. The staff was polite, and the common areas of the hotel were kept very clean and presentable. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. First, the breakfast was arguably the worst quality I have ever seen at any hotel—it was simply unacceptable. The most disturbing issue, however, was the state of our room. Our bed sheets had visible blood stains on them. When we requested that they be changed, housekeeping took the sheets, supposedly washed them, and then put the exact same blood-spotted sheets back on our bed instead of just providing a fresh, clean set. This level of negligence regarding basic hygiene is very unfortunate for a Hilton-based hotel. I expect much better from this brand, and I will absolutely avoid this location in the future.

Location, staff, free breakfast, housekeeping, The rooms could use thorough cleaning. As in when we checked into my room, room 324 didn't have any shower gel to use and the hand soap had 2 pieces of hair all on it, that wasn't me or my family. Other than that, everything else was clean and tidy. The next day it looks like housekeeping was able to clean and refill things that needed to be. Lastly, if the rooms could have microwaves, that would be helpful as walking down the hall or going to the lobby to heat up food can be stressful, etc.

The room was clean, they were extremely dog friendly and accommodated putting us on the first floor so it was easier to take the dog out. The breakfast was the best I’ve had at a hotel and the location was comfortable and quiet, and great parking! We loved everything, can’t think of 1 think we disliked.

The staff, food, rooms was amazing!

The staff at check-in were great and welcoming. They interacted with my son and made him laugh and feel welcome. The beds were comfy, and the room was clean.

This is a beautiful, clean, and well maintained hotel! We had the absolute best interaction with staff; everyone was so friendly! We absolutely loved meeting Mary at the front desk; she was the most kind!
