Quality Inn Jacksonville near I-72

Problem with internet not working, but desk clerk was able to get me connected by using a different site. Keys didn’t work on outside doors, but that may only be an issue with my keys. Room was very cheap which may be because of lack of maintenance resources. Facility was old and has a new facility (sister company Sleep) next door which had many more customers (cars in parking lot). It’s hard to complain too much considering the price and my expectations based on that price.

Toilet lid had to stay off and we had to press down on inside of toilet to flush. Lobby and dining area very hot! No air conditioning

We had to change rooms twice. The first room had not been properly cleaned, and the second room had a mini fridge that didn’t work. After finally getting into a third room, we discovered the hotel’s amenities were in poor condition as well. The ice machine was out of order, the vending machine wasn’t even plugged in, and the overall cleanliness of the property was unacceptable. The carpets in the elevator and stairwells were visibly stained and dirty, making the hotel feel neglected and poorly maintained. For families traveling for events or tournaments, this isn’t what you expect after a long day. Basic cleanliness and working amenities shouldn’t be too much to ask. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again unless significant improvements are made.

Because it was late in the evening after returning from the wedding, we were unexpectedly forced to leave your hotel. This created unnecessary stress and additional expense during what should have been an enjoyable occasion. We chose Quality Inn expecting a clean, safe, and comfortable room. Unfortunately, that was not the experience we received. I would appreciate your prompt response regarding this matter.

Staff was okay but our room was terrible. The a/c did not work and the drain in the sink was stuck down. Our kids had a great time at the pool though and breakfast was okay. Overall, the stay was pretty well priced but still expected to atleast have air 😅 also, bring snacks because there was no snack machine 😭 BUT it's right beside a gas station.

What really didn’t like was the hotel smell like weed and the hallway was very hot and breakfast was the same the whole 5 days I was there no eggs or bacon or sausage and no do not disturb housekeeping gave me one and someone took it

The room had an air conditioner but it didn’t cool off until 2am. We ask for a fan and was told they didn’t have one to offer. Attendant was informed of AC issue and he said Quote”yeh I’ve been hearing that a lot tonight. I would move you to another room but u would have the same issue ! The hallways and elevator also did not have AC

The smell on the second floor was horrible

When I arrived, the desk clerk seemed more attentive to the children playing in the lobby than to me. She provided good directions when I said I needed to find a store.

I like how the staff was friendly and how they understood our problem and switched us rooms I likes the hotel all together good breakfast choices the pool wasn’t the warmest but it wasn’t freezing either

Rooms were not clean. Top cover doesn't get laundered.

It was in a very convenient location. It was close to the interstate and close to gas stations. The shower drain was clogged. I got to shower for about two minutes. I got dressed and went to the desk and no one was there. I decided to eat and wait for someone. When I came back to the desk someone else was waiting at the desk. We waited and I called the office no one answered. When we were leaving a man finally came to the desk. I told him about the drain and got back on the road without taking a good shower.
