Hampton Inn Joliet-Plainfield I-55

Staff was helpful and front desk helped me get into my room quickly. Room was in excellent shape; looks like they'd recently renovated. Breakfast was fantastic and got me ready for the day. Highly recommend.

The room was clean and comfortable. There was a broken table that in the room that needed some love but otherwise no complaints. The staff was friendly and plenty of food at the complimentary breakfast. We have always had good experiences at every Hampton Inn we stay at.

We stayed here in a pinch, not a typical place we’d stay. But pleasantly surprised! Varma was at the check in desk and very helpful. Hotel was very clean. My daughter enjoyed the free breakfast. I liked the free coffee 24 hours a day.

The property in general was not super clean, but the rooms were ok.

Better stay elsewhere. Entered room/ definitely not vacuumed well large dust and pumpkin seed visible on the ground. Went to use the gym and a police officer is in the foyer. Worst of all someone opened our room door at 7:30 am- I awoke from my sleep screaming. Later I saw the cleaning lady outside- she looked at me and turned away to avoid me. I went to her and asked if she opened our door. She said yes; she knocked but we didn’t answer and we should have put the sign. But come on- it’s 7:30 am, I was sleeping so how could I hear her knocking? Don’t they have a better system to know people are checked out than awakening them from sleep. Really, I could have been taking a shower or out for breakfast. That’s ridiculous. And the lady once she came in ran away rather than announcing she was the cleaning lady. Made me worried the rest of the morning someone broke into my room. And how terrible to be awoken that way. And when I checked out, I wasn’t asked how was my stay; all the front desk had to say is that cleaning staff don’t usually go until 10; we’ll speak to the cleaning lady.

The bathtub wasn't working it was clogged then when the water slowly went down it left resadue

Parking is questionable, cleaning staff was parking in the Diamond spots

Mins early. Parking lot was empty. I asked if I could pay to check in an hour early. He did not even look just said no. I had somewhere to be in 45 mins. When someone else came up I asked and received a room. It was an odd interaction. Hotel is located by a closed mall.

Sink didn’t drain. Breakfast was okay.

The staff was very accommodating, at first there was difficulty finding both reservations but they found them and things were good!

We had a wonderful day at the Hampton in Joliet. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had at any hotel. The bed was super comfortable and the staff was wonderful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Room was fresh and clean, pool was working and descent sized, and breakfast was great for a hotel. Always love this chain.

Front desk staff was very professional and courteous. Breakfast was satisfactory. Ample Parking.
