Maui Beach Hotel

The staff were nice people.

Perfect start point for a nice trip

Poorly maintained. Rooms were musty smelling.

Place was rundown and outdated. Pool was down due to maintenance, shower had slow drain, bed sheets had hair on it and found roaches in my room. Key badge to get into would randomly stop working so I had to go to the front desk twice to reset them. I was told since the pool was down due to maintenance, I would be comp one night free but was later charged for that night. The next morning I found a homeless using the sprinklers near my car to bath. Please avoid this place at all cost.

Room was so clean and staff helpful and accomodating.

The hotel is good enough for this trip as we don't really stay there during the day. The down side is there is no pool and no hot tub. Also the parking charge $25 plus tax per night is an surprise to a hotel like this.

I will definitely be back!

I was informed by staff that pool was closed, and I needed to inform them to use the pool two hotels away. Also the hotel maid came pounding on my door at 9am and even opened the door (she said excuse me) but I got in around 1:30 am that morning and was told 12:00pm was check out, I really didn’t appreciate this. But other than that everything was good.

The fire alarm went off on only my floor. I went down stairs and they looked at me like I was a moron. They never told me I could go back up and when I asked if everything was clear they told me they just turned the alarm off.

The staff were amazing. The room was not the greatest - the fridge reeked. If the room was cleaner, this would’ve been a great place to stay for a night or two.

The property was clean and well-maintained. However, had difficulty operating the television. After numerous attempts, I gave up.

I barely write reviews but this hotel was one of the worst I have ever stayed in. Do not trust the pictures, the hotel is very dated and the rooms not well maintained. We found hair in the shower, water stains everywhere, halls and all equipment was filthy. Staff is not attentive at all, no questions asked at checkout if we enjoyed the stay or not etc. Pool was under construction so thankfully we could use the one next door which was much better. Parking fee is an additional 26 USD which is a rip off. Do yourself a favor and go to the place right next door which looks way newer and well maintained.

Plus it would have been nice to sit out on the lawn with a cold one in your hand but no alcohol on the lawn. If your traveling to Maui do your research about where you're staying dont be picture shock like I was when I arrived from 13 hr flight from Boston.

Attended meetings, visited family in between had to extend one more night. Everything was perfect. Front desk staff were excellent! Highly recommend this hotel.

On island for meetings, we live on Hawaii Island. Highly recommend this hotel, perfect location, friendly staff, clean and welcoming. Perfect location. Mahalo nui! Maui no ka 'oi!
