Maui Beach Hotel

The staff were amazing. The room was not the greatest - the fridge reeked. If the room was cleaner, this would’ve been a great place to stay for a night or two.

Never to recommend this place it’s very moldy and tvs don’t work

The property was clean and well-maintained. However, had difficulty operating the television. After numerous attempts, I gave up.

I barely write reviews but this hotel was one of the worst I have ever stayed in. Do not trust the pictures, the hotel is very dated and the rooms not well maintained. We found hair in the shower, water stains everywhere, halls and all equipment was filthy. Staff is not attentive at all, no questions asked at checkout if we enjoyed the stay or not etc. Pool was under construction so thankfully we could use the one next door which was much better. Parking fee is an additional 26 USD which is a rip off. Do yourself a favor and go to the place right next door which looks way newer and well maintained.

Plus it would have been nice to sit out on the lawn with a cold one in your hand but no alcohol on the lawn. If your traveling to Maui do your research about where you're staying dont be picture shock like I was when I arrived from 13 hr flight from Boston.

Attended meetings, visited family in between had to extend one more night. Everything was perfect. Front desk staff were excellent! Highly recommend this hotel.

On island for meetings, we live on Hawaii Island. Highly recommend this hotel, perfect location, friendly staff, clean and welcoming. Perfect location. Mahalo nui! Maui no ka 'oi!

Absolutely loved the hotel!!! The staff were soo kind!!! The view is amazing!!! And super nice being close to the airport with there free transportation is awesome!!! And lots of local places to eat around the hotel! 10/10 recommend

Well located. But the room has cockroaches. I asked the staff Nd they said it was normal

I would like to start by saying that the staff was awesome. Very friendly staff was super helpful and kind. Although near the airport the location was not great if looking to hang out on the beach or swim in the ocean, as the water was very murky and brown. The swimming pool was broken and sounds like it had been for a while. Though they did offer the use of the hotel pool just a short walk away, this was a deal breaker for us. Overall property was nice, but the rooms were dirty and dated.

Shuttle to airport is nice. Rooms and property are very outdated! Not the cleanest, and found a roach in the bathroom. Employees were nice.

What truly made the difference was the outstanding customer service. Before check-in, I had an important work call and asked if there was a quiet place where I could take it. Instead of simply offering a meeting area, the staff kindly gave me access to our room immediately. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture that I really appreciated. Even more impressive, when we returned a few days later for another stay, they once again checked us in early in the morning. I’ve stayed at many luxury hotels over the years, and I’ve honestly never experienced this level of flexibility and genuine care. A special thank you to Tiana at the front desk, who was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. She truly made us feel valued as guests. As for the hotel itself, it’s a solid choice with a very good price-to-quality ratio. The breakfast buffet was decent, and while this is clearly a more budget-friendly property, it offers great value and a very convenient location for exploring Maui. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

It was close to the airport. Staff was friendly. No notice of pool closure, we were offered to use the sister hotel pool but it was crowded. Washer/Dryers outdated and didn’t wash nor dry clothes too good and was over priced.

Lovely location, amazing breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, and very clean. A lot of comfortable places to relax in the large courtyard. Strong air conditioning, which is a nice relief on hot days. Would stay again!

When I checked into my first room there was a foul odor next to the window. I had to be moved to a different room because of this. Upon moving to the second room, it didn't have a phone like the first room. I also attempted to use the iron (which was old) that didn't get hot and leaked. I wanted to check out a day early but was unable to change my flight. Also, the pool was out of order. The property should have advertised this on their site as a disclaimer so perspective guests can decide whether or not to book. Because the pool was not open on the property, it was advised that guests walk down to Maui Seaside Hotel to use the pool there (about 2-3 mins walking distance). To do this you have to walk through the Hampton Inn parking lot. Apparently, the hotel has it worked out with the other hotel to accommodate their guests who want to use the pool during their stay. The hotel is somewhat outdated but the premises are clean. If you're looking for a resort-like experience, this is not it. It's just good for a short stay before catching a flight to your final destination. I don't foresee staying here again in the future.
