The location has the sea to its back which can be viewed from the fence. Has onsite parking, a nice pool. The property is well-maintained both inside and outside. We loved the rooms which were much more modern than other properties around. The staff at the front desk and at the restaurant are amazing. Great option for families too. Definitely would recommend!

Ocean view room doesn’t really mean actual ocean view. It’s a very partial ocean view at best. That is basically due to the layout of the hotel. The renovated building has no balcony so the view is worse. Non-renovated rooms are quite outdated, may have a balcony with only a partial ocean view. If you want a panaromic ocean view this is not the hotel for you. Renovated rooms are nice but still not worth the expensive price tag per night.

Great experience! Sheri at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with our needs!

We pulled up and were a bit underwhelmed, the exterior looked worn down. Once we got inside and into the courtyard it was great. Clean, updated rooms, comfortable bed although the sheets were a bit stiff. The staff was helpful and kind and passed out cool lavender infused towels to wipe off our sweaty faces. We used the water refill station a lot! Good pool and view of the ocean.

Cute little spot with a quiet atmosphere! Quiet and cozy! Super friendly staff and the restaurant there had great food! It's real close to a couple shopping malls as well.

Great experience! I recommend it

Very nice place to stay if you book the remodeled rooms. The older rooms are not very nice and have a weird smell.

This property was immaculately clean and the staff was wonderfully accommodating. They are true ambassadors of the Aloha Spirit. Keep in mind that the property is 70 years old and doesn't have the frills of newer properties but the location, cleanliness and staff more than makes up for it. The rooms are small and very basic. But if you do not intend to spend a lot of time in the rooms its an excellent value. The property is very kid friendly and the restaurant adjacent has a good selection of local and traditional items. Mahalo to the staff for taking care of our needs during our stay. Our AC unit didn't cool the room adequately during the night for me. I think it might have been because the outside weather during our stay was hot and humid. I also like to sleep with temperature at 68 degrees : ) !

It was a great and pleasant experience. Rooms very clean staff very friendly and beach view was awesome.

The AC window unit was ancient rusted out and made a terrible screeching noise suffficient that we had to switch off . Overall not value for nightly rate and that does not include the add on ‘resort ‘ fee and parking = $55 US

The older section doesn’t look all that great from the outside, but the remodeled rooms are gorgeous! The new pool area and lobby are also beautiful and it’s right in the water near a lot of restaurants. Great place to stay before and after the Road to Hana. We will definitely stay here again!

No ventilation on stair cases or corridors. No for safety measures.

Room was really beautiful. Beautiful view & extremely close to everything in Kahului! We enjoyed our short stay! Hope everyone enjoys!

Maui seaside hotel is always a must stay for me and my family. Everyone is friendly and very accommodating. If you need anything there always there to try to help you. The place is so peaceful, clean and it’s really close to good shops and the airport. Would highly recommend .
-
beautiful grounds and the renovated rooms were nice, make sure you ask for a renovated room, the air conditioning was not the greatest and if you ask for an ocean view there is not one there is a bay and the hotel runs the opposite way so there is no way to have a full view of the ocean.

The is an excellent little resort by the airport. It is right on the beach and has an adorable coffee shop/bakery a quick walk down the street. The attached restaurant was really good a well. The staff was very friendly and the amenities on the grounds-pool, yard games, etc were great. It was the perfect spot to stay when we arrived on the island and waited to head to our condo.

Maui Seaside Hotel is great! Really nice staff and great location for exploring Maui. We opted for the upgraded rooms and were very happy. The AC worked really well and it was super hot during our stay. Plenty of room in the space and very comfortable. We had an expedia credit for the Tante Restaurant next door which was a nice local establishment. The only issue we had during our stay was that we were told that rooms were cleaned every 3 days which we agreed to but no one came to clean our room on the third day. Called the front desk and asked for fresh towels and the trash to be cleared. Got some more coffee supplies. Other than that, we really loved our stay and liked the homey vibes. My husband also went paddling on Sunday morning and really enjoyed it.
