Great staff and so helpful and kind!!

This location and view of the ocean are outstanding. The property is clean and the staff is friendly. The buildings just need some updates / cosmetic work to really transform the place and to support the beautiful location.

However a thumb size American cockroach in my room. I believe cleaner can see its dead body under the sink. I know it might be common here, but that is the largest i saw in my life. Room is fine,but sound proof of balcony is really terriable. Balcony no privacy as well, neighbour can easily see what you are doing at room or just step in, if no shades is used. Not sure why design like that. Worst part is shower, no matter how i change the temperature, not working. Cold water only kicked in first 30 secs. Afternoon that Water at least 50 degree I breaked my record to shower time in 45s. Last, some suggestions if a microwave can be equipped that will be the best. And also the complementary bottled water can be placed in room by cleaners. Especially I tipped.

Rooms could use some updating

Reception staff are like zombies and cant even afford a smile while greeting guests. The property is old and hasn't been kept well. There are bed bugs and cockroaches in the rooms. We had to call in the room service to fill our body wash. Thankfully the restaurant is great with very good dishes. The staff there was excellent and quite a contrast with the reception staff

Beautiful hotel. Rooms very nice, well equipped. Only issue was there were no cushions or cabanas set up at the pool area. Understandably, they were preparing for a looming tropical storm but it was way after they all clear was given to the area and still nothing set up

We only stayed there one night, but we enjoyed our stay. The staff was great. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean.

We stayed in a King Oceanview room. Looking back at the resort pictures on Expedia after our trip with more scrutiny, I can see the wear and tear and dirty rooms we saw firsthand when we checked in. If you're scrolling through the pictures quickly, you likely will not notice. Our bathroom was disgustingly dirty when we arrived and the front desk staff acted as if we were bothering them when we were checking in. Not a great way to start off the trip. The bathrooms don't have fans, and the air conditioning doesn't work well. The rooms are awfully stuffy and dated. The price of the rooms are NOT worth what you get. Thankfully, we did not see any cockroaches, as other reviews have noted. I can't say that I would stay here again, but the location was nice. Perhaps if their housekeeping standards improve, we'd visit the property again.

First, the sliding glass door to our balcony was so degraded and stiff it took two hands and brute force just to pry it open and shut. Second, on our first night, an on-site vendor hit our rental car in the parking lot and traded paint. A bellhop confirmed the vehicle belonged to a vendor. I reported it immediately to the front desk and security, who promised an investigation. At checkout—and still as of now—nobody had an update or took responsibility. Management completely ignored an on-property hit-and-run. Third, on night four, a wedding reception was held directly below our room. The DJ blasted music that shook our room until 10 PM. We go to bed at 8 PM, and when I called down, the front desk simply offered earplugs. A competent hotel would have notified us at check-in and offered a room in a quieter tower. They refunded our $150 resort fees at checkout, but a nominal refund doesn't make up for ruined peace and quiet on a honeymoon, nor does it address unresolved vehicle damage. I cannot recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing stay or responsive service.

Room clean, staff friendly, lagoon was excellent, the only thing missing was being able to relax for an evening swim in the pool after a long day of excursions. Otherwise all was good.

It was a brief but lovely stay.

Overall this was the best one. Only issue we had is- compared to the other 3 hotels- the food and bar is overpriced- especially desserts. Otherwise- great.

This was the perfect end to our Hawaii vacation. The staff was so nice and accommodating letting us check in early and check out late. The gal who helped me at the front desk was awesome. She remembered my name on check out, which I thought was so nice. The location is absolutely beautiful! They were doing construction on our building but we never even heard it. Would absolutely stay here again.
