We had to have the desk clerk let us into our room because the lock on our room didn’t work. The elevator was broken and our room was on the third floor, our bed skirt had mold all over it, our toilet handle was cracked and was about to break at any moment and it was an absolute nightmare from the moment we walked into the doors to check in. We drove 11 hours and got there at 11:00pm there time (midnight my own time). It was such a fiasco from the get go and I can say that this hotels only saving grace is their desk clerk Dawn. She did everything in her power to try and help us. The supervisor called us post visit and promised us 50% refund yet when Expedia contacted them and we got our refund we got less the 1/4. I would not recommended this hotel at all!

Elevator was broken. Apparently has been for quite awhile. I'm handicapped and asked for a room not on the 4th floor. That's a lot of stairs for me. Manager would not move me to a 1st floor room because I prepaid through Experian. Supposed discount rate. There might've been a few dollars difference. The place wasn't full. It was close to midnight when I was able to check in. The wasn't a feasible reason to not switch my room to the first floor. All the rooms are basically the same. The room itself was ok. Very large. But run down looking. Carpet was damp from humidity. Bathroom looked to be very old. Functional but mellowed with age. Sitting chair was coming apart at the seam. Would not stay here again or recommend.

The room was clean the towels were not. My dad got a separate room and the room he was given was not clean so he had to be moved. The hotel elevator didn’t work so they put everyone on the first floor. The deadbolt on my dad’s room was busted.

Amazing place to stay at!!!

- Elevator did not work - Dust and dirt in all the hallways - Toilet paper was green from mold - The floors had obviously not been swept or mopped in quite some time - Towels had so much dust on them you could see it - No TV remote and when they brought one it didn't work - Ice machine did not work on 2nd or 4th floor. They did bring us ice when asked however They did bring us new towels when requested. Talk to many staff some were nice and some were not very polite.

Hotel was run down and nothing like pictures. Was placed on 4th floor with no working elevator. The room was not clean and shower stained and dirty. Immediately checked out even forfeiting cost (nonrefundable) because it was so bad.

Check in was with a new employee and took a very long time. He put us on the 4th floor and there was no working elevator so we (x4 of us ages 67 to 72 years old) had to lug all of our luggage and bags up to the room. He said if we couldn’t do it he would help. But there was a growing line behind us waiting to check in. The stairwell was very dirty - the stairs, the bannister, the walls - dirt, mud, dead bugs, old food. We got into our room (416) and we found it also to be very unkept . The bathtub was full of discolorations from age and wear I assume. It looked gross. There was a trickle of water across the floor coming from under the sink. An old dirty, smelly rag was wrapped around the gooseneck. Every time we used the faucet, it would leak. We were wiping up the floor frequently. The ceiling fan blades were so full of dust, dirt and cobwebs - I was afraid to turn it on. The floor lamp shade was dirty and had water stains on it. The TV remote was broken. The window sills were full of grime and dirt. There was a bad smell in the room so we tried to open a window but were unable to. There was a maids cart outside our door the whole time we were there. The manager came up to the room to look at it and just gave us a lot excuses as to why things looked so bad. She said there were no other rooms to give us and that our room was one of the nicer ones! We were in town for a one night event so time was tight and we didn’t want to waste it finding another hotel.
