Sonesta Select Kansas City South Overland Park

Good Stay for the World Cup. Very quiet due to distance from downtown but close enough to get there somewhat quickly. A little hiccup at the beginning of my stay but it was remedied quickly. Room was nice and appropriate for the cost. Would stay here again for future trips.

Staff was nice and helpful. Room was clean. We were able to check in early which was really helpful. AC in room worked well although there was no AC in hallway.

Hotel was very nice, bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly, hotel was close to good restaurants .

The pool had algae growing at the water line and in corners. The fridge in my room did not work. The carpet in my room was soaked in the corner by the AC.

Cost

Very spacious room, a lot of natural light, free coffee in the morning.

Our room was not as clean as I would have preferred. Bed was comfortable.

We were very impressed with the hotel. Staff (including manager) were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. AC worked fairly well too, which was appreciated in the Kansas City heat. Our boys enjoyed the indoor pool. No major thrills but plenty big. We also used the laundry services which were nice - major plus you could buy quarters from the front desk to use for laundry. I would absolutely stay here again.

También me cargaron dinero de más en mi tarjeta que nadie me la quiere devolver $157 de más cuando yo ya había pagado la habitación. Llamo al hotel para reclamar y me dicen que nunca estuve ahí. Un desastre el hotel cómo nunca me había pasado.

Fitness room was adequate. The indoor pool was small but looked clean. The halls and elevator were also clean. There was plenty of available parking.

We run a DJ & Balloon Entertainment business, and the team went above and beyond by allowing us to blow up and store our balloons for a gig we had during our trip. That level of accommodation meant a lot and made our workday so much easier. Our room was fresh, the bed was comfortable, and the overall vibe was welcoming — exactly what you want when you’re back home in KCMO. If you’re coming through my hometown, this spot gets a solid A+ from me.

In the room - the chair had a HUGE DARK stain. And the second morning, I found a huge spider in my bathroom. The pool was also incredibly unpleasant- humid and loud. I would not book again.
