Beautiful setting! Very clean too. You wouldn’t even have to leave the property. They charged my credit card after the room was paid when booked and tried to collect again at checkout.

The Atmosphere & Grounds I’ll start with the positives: the grounds are immaculate and the rooms are well-appointed. The staff is clearly well-trained in managing large crowds, and for those seeking a high-energy vacation club environment, this may be a dream. The Service Experience However, my experience was deeply disappointing. We booked this stay to break up a long journey from Thailand and New Zealand and to mark our 40th wedding anniversary. After a grueling red-eye flight, we were looking for the resort experience one expects at this price point. Instead, we felt "trapped" in a perpetual sales pitch. When we sought technical assistance with the resort’s app at the welcome desk, we weren't given a solution; instead, we were met with a misleading high-pressure invitation to a timeshare presentation. I would never have booked this location had it been clearly disclosed that the priority here is timeshare sales rather than guest relaxation. Dining & Health Issues The logistical hurdles with the app meant we missed out on reservations for the main restaurant. We turned to the pool grill, where I ordered a BBQ sandwich that arrived dry and burnt. Regrettably, I ate it anyway—an error that cost me the next two days of my trip due to illness. Final Verdict While the property is physically beautiful, the "hotel food" warnings I received were an understatement, and the aggressive sales culture ruined it.

The grounds are immaculate, the buildings the same very impressive. Staff are trained well and friendly. They are managing a lot of people. The little food we have eaten is exactly what others that have been to Hawaii warned us it would be. They have trained the entire place to be a sales pitch for time share, therefore the entire orientation is pushing you that way while you are still jet lagged. They understand their target market very well (what we referred to in business as what to be people. Ones that have enough income to buy it, following the leveraged lifestyle they are used too.). I probably should have spent the extra 4k and stayed next door. I just wanted to rest a couple days before meeting up with our kids and grandkids. The place is really nice just doesn’t reach what I’m used too. Many people no doubt enjoy this resort as a dream destination and it is for most.

We rented a villa and it was exactly what we needed and was everything we hoped! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Amazing stay!! One of our most memorable vacation. Very clean, great staff, great food, great pool areas and best beach lagoon. Great family stay. Will def be back.

It was very enjoyable eating dinner next to the ocean and listening to the musician at Longboards. The different pools were beautiful but not heated and it was cold the first of March. We didn't have an ocean view so the room was dark and dated. For the price, there should have been complimentary water. This was the only resort ot of 5 that we stayed at that didn't offer anything.

we unfortunately went and a tropical storm came in alot of the amenities could not be used. It is a beautiful property.

Room was clean and cozy, resorts has lots of pools, and the staff was extremely friendly. Even the rollaway bed we requested was comfortable. Minor drawback was the food options but there are lots of options nearby. Overall very satisfied with the stay.

My room was spacious and comfortable. Although I have always visited Mariott this was our first time staying. The only concern about the room is the lack of flexibility at check out and the broken amenities in the room such as the bedroom fan and some of the grills outside. The only other concern was the limited space at the pools and beach. We had to search for lawn chairs by the pool for 3 hours. There is no shade at the beach you have to pay for use of an umbrella.

It is clean Room keys did not work for half a day. Not very good restaurants on the site.

This is a great resort… quiet and beautiful

Very quiet area of the island, far from Waikiki. Wouldn’t venture further north from here but the immediate area is wonderful. Loved doing the beach walk every day to the Four Seasons and back. Rented the Marriott umbrella & 2 lounges for wonderful beach days. The pool can get crowded with kids but didn’t bother us - the pool is very pretty and spacious. Traveled in early December so the resort wasn’t too crowded but they do monitor pool lounges that are ‘held’ & will clear the towels and belongings if left unattended (loved that!) for too long. The villa was amazing!

Beautiful location and very well maintained. No real area to be on the beach on the ocean. Just at the lagoon that often had lots of seaweed or something floating on top. Best pool area was also closed 5 of the 9 nights we stayed there .
