Hotel Bliss Kemah

Location Dirty, non smoking room had burn marks on the sheet, shower curtain had black mildew on the bottom, had to stand next to TV to change channels with remote.

Started in room 109 and ended with room 117. Spent most of the check in process moving rooms due to the AC not working in some rooms and TV not working in others. When brought to the attention of staff it was friendly and helpful. By the 3rd time switching rooms, the staff was rude and refused to refund my money for the second night.

Not much to like. It’s a old property not much of anything is new there even the ironing board was broken and rusty Almost everything.

Quiet. The bed was comfortable The tub facet was broken. Looked like black mold on the wall. The towel we got. Yes as in 1 was horrible! Felt like you was drying off with sandpaper. Even though the bed was comfortable needed better sheets and pillows. I have noticed the same kind of comments have been going on for a couple of years. Management or whoever is responding to the reviews say thank you and they will work on what ever the problem is. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be anyone who cares to want to improve the location. You would think with the location you would want to make this a wonder place to stay for people to come back to. It is a cute fun little town. very sad they do not care enough to better the hotel.

The lady at the desk was very helpful in changing our rooms when there were defects. She was very polite and the hotel was very quiet.

Plenty of parking, room was clean..

The location is also very convenient, especially if you're planning to visit the Kemah area. Overall, it offers good value for the price. I would definitely stay here again.

This motel is decent. The location is close to Target and other shopping places which was helpful. I misjudged the distance to the boardwalk though. My kids were not happy with me trying to have them walk there and my husband ended up having to go back and get the van. We were able to check in early for a fee and received 2 rooms adjacent to each other. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are mostly functional, but our toilet did not flush, the refrigerator ended up freezing and a ton of ice melted and created a puddle that we had to clean up, it did take some time for the AC to cool the room down and the shower water temperature would not cool down from scalding so we couldn't bathe the kids. However, the TV works and the rooms were clean. We were only there for 1 night to sleep so we didn't have to make the long drive home after spending all day at the boardwalk. So I was trying to save some money and I knew what I was paying for. Overall I'm happy to have had a place to sleep before driving home on Sunday. Thank you.
