Scottish Inns and Suites - Near Kemah Boardwalk

The property is not well kept and the parking is terrible. The rooms are large but the doors do not seal properly which allows moisture into the room. The mattress was uncomfortable and bathroom was very small.

Close to the boardwalk Was not worth the money. Floors were flimsy, ceiling fan did not work, some lights didnt work, toilet was loose, door would not open all the way without getting stuck, bed was hard and not comfortable, staff would go into room without notification to "clean" while we went to eat.

I had a great stay here with my kids. The location was excellent, it’s within walking distance of Kemah Boardwalk, and having a gas station right across the street was very convenient. The A/C worked perfectly, which made the room comfortable, especially after spending time outside in the Texas heat. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again. Honestly, I didn’t have any complaints about my stay. Everything met my expectations, and I had a great experience.

needs updating and some maintenance

The room was clean. The staff was very nice. The only thing that I would suggest needs to be updated is the blankets. They are pretty thin. I’m glad I got two beds because during the night I got cold and took the blanket off the other bed and put it on top of me. Other than that, I would stay here again.

Expensive for what it is.

Confy and clean. Staff was extremely helpful and professional. Thin walls, other guests stayed up being loud all night.

Bad Road Noise

Location to the Kemah Boardwalk meant free parking. Pillows were good, the linens were good, the bed a little stiff, but ok. AC and ceiling fans were great. The small fridge and microwave were great. Coffee/breakfast shop next door was good option to have. The coffee maker sucked. The TV was small and blurry. Needs update to both. The hotel was ok, just way too expensive for what you get. Still cheaper than the options in the area so maybe they're all overpriced. Won't be going back to any of the hotels in the Kemah Boardwalk area at those high prices.

There was a large gap around the door that didn’t allow it to close properly although it did shut enough to lock but we had to put a towel down to keep the cool air from escaping. There were boogers on the wall along with some unknown splatter. The door stopped unlocking with our key after the first day.

Musty smell in room, towels seemed old and smelled funny. We arrived late so lobby door is locked, I get it for security! When I rang doorbell man who came to door seemed bothered spoke through a thick glass and I couldn’t hear him because of traffic noise outside. Hotel sits right off highway.

Very clean easy acess to entertainment

The room was very clean, the only thing I had problems with was when I left my room in returning to my room the card key would not unlock the door, twice this happened. In two days in a roll. A little annoying.
