We thought we would be staying in an old inn with a dining room and a nice view. Not our experience. We were in some building on the street, under remodeling construction. Our view was of the parking lot with water beyond. We paid too much for this accommodation. We didn’t find any open restaurant on the property. It was hard to find a check in desk. No breakfast. No coffee provided in the room. It seemed like an unfinished project that was not going well. Disappointing.

The location of the property was amazing! It was nice being a little ways from the downtown area but still having things in walking distance. The view of the marina was breathtaking! Less than 5 minute walk from a small rocky beach. Easy parking in the back of the property.

Room is clean and quiet, harbor view is beautiful!it is close to everywhere!

This is a very nice quiet hotel. Great location. Next to some nice shops, restaurant, and market. And a great men’s store. About a mile from the main shop area. Overall not a full service hotel but great for what is was. Room was upscale and clean.

We ended up the harbor view building and it was under renovation the room we stayed in was beautiful and updated. There are three different buildings that the hotel manages so it’s a bit confusing some are updated some aren’t. Close to town and free parking

Window did not open, a/c was somewhat annoying. All good for one night, good location.

Inn was amazing and beautiful! Would love to go back. A little hard to find room initially but once we found it we loved it!

After sharing our experience with the hotel staff upon check out the only thing that could be done was to offer us $150 towards another evening within the next few months - which we won’t be taking the chance on. It’s too bad because the hotel is in a great location and has been revamped but the infrastructure needs major help as staff should be available to help guests no matter the time.

Or leave the resort as you are kicked out from the resort you paid for to relax at. We couldn’t sit at the table in the evening ga and just enjoy the sunset as the restaurant uses the whole deck. No one explains that when you spend the money. We went to relax and wanted to spend the nights watching the sunset in our resort but we were forced to leave and walk and that was not our desire or to be inside like our normal worklife. Very disappointed!

Very friendly staff. Door was squeaky but that added to New England charm. 😀 A few more amenities in the lobby would have been nice. Very charming and relaxing.

We are old people and they put us in a separate small old building without decent parking and we had to carry luggage up steps. Also, there was a loud event whereby guests took over the whole place. Guests should be told no elevator and if a noisy event will be consuming the already limited space. Eight children were standing on the porch barking loudly for no reason at all. Parents were leaving their children unattended so they could attend the party. On a positive note, the view was beautiful and there were some Adirondack chairs that we would have enjoyed if they weren’t constantly filled. Bed was comfy. Shower was decent.

Wasn’t aware there was construction going on however the rooms were very clean and updated. No noise noted and the staff were amazing! Just a little dust at the property due to construction but did not interfere with stay. About a mile walk to the shops and restaurant but I preferred it. Made for a quiet area. The restaurant is 10/10! Will stay again!

This is our second time staying here. It was a wonderful stay.

The inn seems to be still undergoing construction. Many areas of the rebuild are incomplete or shoddily done. I was not a fan of the parking situation. The bed was comfortable.

The staff were very friendly. Highly recommended. We would stay again!

The room was large and had a huge window overlooking the Kennebunk river and the ocean off to the left. The location truly can't be beat! We ate at the bar outside two nights and the food and drinks were exceptional. The only downsides were there was no dresser to put away your clothes even though the room had plenty of room to accommodate more furniture and the air conditioner was loud. We notified the front desk right after our first night and they said they'd have someone work on it, but we saw no improvement our second night. It was so loud when it cycled on that it could wake us up from a sound sleep and it didn't seem to be working that well. But other than that, it was a gorgeous place to stay!

As a guest at the Inn I didn’t think it would’ve been a no-no to bring a Corona/half down to sit in one of the lawn chairs and catch a bit more of the sunshine. (6:00) We had been up North for the day, had a late lunch and had decided to put a few things in the car as we were leaving the next day. But, I was approached by a woman I’m assuming ?hostess who said that was not allowed and she needed to take the bottle which was a couple sips left! She offered to bring the drink menu to which my husband and I replied no. We had had a couple drinks and appetizers the day we arrived. We also had dinner at Mabel’s the night before. I felt it was rude and quite honestly I was speechless. I called the Office number to speak to the Manager and had to leave a voicemail and never got a call back that evening. I then called again today Thursday, spoke to girl at reception desk also and still have not received a call from the Manager. This, is totally unacceptable in my eyes to not have gotten a response especially from an Inn that presents itself as high end/ luxury Hotel? Very unhappy, will not be back and will tell my friends never to book a stay here.
