Awesome stay at Mabel’s house. No real amenities but great location and the luxury suite was huge and perfect for our family.

Lovely area, very quaint and beautiful property. A mile from central Kennebunkport and right near the water. Great spot if you’re looking for a no frills, cute B&B with attentive staff. Fun, waterside restaurants right nearby.

I loved my stay here! Booked last minute for Memorial Day weekend with a friend and was in a beautiful location just a short bike ride or drive from downtown Kennebunkport. Our room was beautiful looking over water and was very clean upon arrival. Staff was very friendly! The only negatives I experienced were that there was minimal staff attendance in the building. There was never anyone at the front desk, you had to go across the street if you needed anything to the other hotel they own. This definitely was concerning in terms of safety — the front door to the place was always unlocked & no staff there for the majority of the day. Also, I attempted calling multiple times and the phone just kept ringing with no voicemail or way to leave a message, and no one calling me back. The kayaks and bikes available were completely unattended, with no one helping with the process. One day nearly all the bikes were gone with no way of knowing when the other guests would bring them back. Also, many of the bikes were rusty, old and broken. We were told there was a sign out sheet at the front desk, but there was no one attending the front desk and no way to find it. We also asked about the kayaks, but we were told the only way to use them is if we carried them across the street. They were extremely heavy and this wasn’t possible for us, so we didn’t get to use them. The bikes and kayaks were both great ideas, but I just think there needs to be more staff to help out! Overall, it was great!

No one around to help with check in and no information given. We had to track someone down at the restaurant

We had such a great weekend at Mabel’s! The staff was so friendly and accommodating and everything was so clean. We went out of season so the pantry inside was closed but we know we would’ve enjoyed it! We liked that Mabel’s wasn’t right in the bustle of Dock Square but close enough for a short drive over for shops, activities, and food. There’s also a small beach was just a 5 minute walk away from Mabel’s, which we loved! Can’t forget Coveside market just next to Mabel’s - perfect for a snack, morning coffee, or bottle of wine for a night in.

I had a wonderful 2 night stay at this charming property in a great location

Very clean, easy check-in process and parking, over-delivered for the cost, cozy and tucked away location, and the innkeeper Rhonda is a doll and was incredibly accommodating. Several attractions nearby, town is a quick mile jaunt away with well-maintained sidewalks to and from. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The design was very beachy and pretty. The bed was very comfortable. It snowed while we were there, and the snow removal team came and cleared the parking lot, walking path, and steps. I could not figure out how to get the heat above 60 degrees. Instructions next to the thermostat would help.

We stayed over the Christmas Prelude weekend. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and warm in a very cold weekend. Overall a great stay and we would stay again for sure.

Loved our room; the coffee tea, water bar area. And the ability to use the common breakfast room to gather and play cards and chat in the evening!

It would have been nice to have the sheets "refreshed". I will give credit on having a beautiful view

The location was in a nice and quiet area. Cute little place. The beds were super comfy, rooms clean.

I liked the wood floors - hate walking on carpet that is not in my own home. The room was small but comfortable and clean - just what we wanted for a one night stay. They were no longer serving breakfast (closed for the season), and check-in was across the street - a little confusing. Other guests had to tell us since there was no information at the empty front desk - just a phone number, but no one picked up. I guess the expectation was for self-check-in.

When we got in the room, the TV didn’t work. Upon checking, I found the TV and cable box were both in plugged? Additionally, the HDMI cable wasn’t connected to the cable box! Called for maintenance and 45 minutes later he came to check everything. Finally after numerous attempts he was able to get the tv to work. Very disappointed!

Nice Room, comfy beds, clean, could get breakfast downstairs (not included), bikes included No one at the property to talk to about taking out kayaks or bikes; decent walk to the main area of restaurants and shops, but doable, the view from the back deck was ok.
