Best Western Tyrolean Lodge

Room was spacious and the breakfast was very good. The hotel has a cute ski chalet style with vintage travel posters for decoration. I’d absolutely stay here again.

We expected more from Best Western Tyrolean. The property is situated in a good area, but the property needs a serious face-lift. Rooms are small, and the furniture is definitely very dated and worn out. Breakfast also could be better at this price point. I would not recommend this property, there are better options.

Charming place. Next door to ski area. Could walk to main street for dining & shopping.

Quiet surroundings

Place was clean and welcoming. Breakfast was not great, but good. Jacuzzi was much appreciated. View of mountains was wonderful.

The location and setting is very nice . The building is a bit old and dated, carpets worn. The rooms were dated, A/C units loud. the bed sheets thin . the down comforter too thick. Lots of steps in this building you're always going up or down to get anywhere . No elevator , so no dollies to haul your gear. Breakfast area was nice but it was filled with lots of poor quality food. Pre mixed eggs and thin greasy bacon, if it was bacon. Parking was good.

Attractive property with pretty flowers. Very easy walk to downtown for food and fun. Nice staff and comfy bed!

This is an old hotel. Room is clean but somehow small. Breakfast is good.

I've stayed at plenty of Best Westerns and expected the usual clean, reliable basics. This one fell well short. I'd skip it until management addresses the cleanliness issues.

The properties a little bit older, but the rooms are newer and clean. It’s very cozy and friendly and I would definitely go back here… I didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but it looked really nice and there’s a hot tub as well. I came for a summer wedding rather than a ski vacation, which is what it’s designed for but the pool was the main draw for me. Breakfast was quite good and everything is set up for your comfort.

Location was good close to the center of town, the front desk help especially helpful and had good recommendations. Toilets could’ve been taller, sounds weird, but they’re very short

Nice location

Old World style lodge with much history. Excellent Location. Many things to go & see in the area even in the Summer. The carpet is a bit worn. No elevators with up & down stairs on first floor of a 2 story long building.

The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and very kind. I had made a mistake and booked for a wrong weekend, and I was ready to deal with my mistake on my own, the woman went out of her way to ensure that I had a room. The kindness of the staff, plus the great breakfast, made this night a great experience.

Multiple repeat guest...always a reliable and convenient Ketchum location...walkable distance from anywhere in the town...works for us!

Only two small issues: the chairs in the room are uncomfortable, and breakfast was very mediocre. (The sausage was horrible.) Otherwise, the people were great, and the room was super clean and well maintained. 4 out of 5 stars from us.

Nice, clean rooms, comfy beds, did not use the pool or hot tub but both looked inviting! Breakfast choices were outstanding!! Good location in Ketchum. Have stayed here several times.
