Dinner last night in The Ram was amazing but think we won’t be stopping here again on our drives south to Az each Fall.

The location of the inn was great! Staff was awesome. It had its own pool or you could use all the amenities at the sun valley lodge as well. I thought I had booked the lodge. That was a little confusing and I was a little disappointed about that but after staying at the inn it was great. The only thing that wasn’t awesome was the bed. It was a bit firm for us. The parking to our room was close so that was great. I’d stay here again for sure.

We booked the Sun Valley Inn over Mother’s Day weekend. We got a call a few days before our trip that we had gotten an upgrade to the Sun Valley Lodge. It was absolutely incredible, we felt like we didn’t belong there, it was so fancy lol. It was our first trip to Sun Valley, and we are blown away by the beauty. The lodge was incredibly accommodating to us with our E bikes, storing them and even charging them for us.

Summer at the Sun Valley Resort is almost magical. My daughter and I traveled from the East Coast to see the Sun Valley on Ice show, particularly to see Ilia Malinin who was the featured guest skater that weekend, We both had a wonderful time at the show and also enjoyed the selection of dining experiences, the beautiful ambiance, and simply relaxing by the pool. We stayed at the Inn because there was no availability at the Lodge when I made the reservation almost three months beforehand. The accommodation was comfortable, although the walk to our room from the single elevator was surprisingly long, involving multiple hallways. Other than that, it was a lovely experience. July 2026

What a fun discovery when we missed our flight! We originally stayed in Stanley for the week and had to stay a night in Sun Valley, we absolutely loved this place! So many amenities, great for families, we are planning our next trip here!

Meals are expensive.

The ac was noisy and the bed was sagging. Both pools are enclosed, I felt like being in an aquarium. I expected better, I didn’t realize there was a difference between the lodge and the inn.
