So much character and beauty

The kitchen was nice- good dishes, cabinets. The oven rack is slanted forward, which I didn’t know until I baked a Texas sheet cake for an event, and the cake ended up two and 1/2 inches thick on one side and a quarter inch thick on the other. It was so drafty. Through the front door, the windows. The living area needed one more comfy seating option, and the dining room chairs were not comfortable. Since there wasn’t good seating options in the living, we sat at the dining chairs in the evening playing games- it would have been good to have them be more comfortable. And the last thing was the location. I had originally booked a double queen room in the lodge. There were three of us Pringle. Then a fourth person decided to come, so I called the lodge and asked if there was a three bedroom available? They said yes, but it was SO far from the lodge! I guess that is my fault for not asking, but because we had originally booked there, I assumed it would be in the same location.

It’s a beautiful property. Nothing

Did not have breakfast; dinner was excellent on the patio. All very good. No exceptions.
-
It’s amazing.
-
Well maintained in a great location. Surprised to hear voices so clearly from the next room.

Amazing place and space. The grounds are beautiful and everything is really well thought out. Some of the service was inconsistent and Gretchen’s was a bit of a disappointment. I suggest differentiating the restaurants further apart - breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, etc at Gretchen’s vs the Austrian style food at Konditorei

cleaning service was good There was no microwave. There was no refrigerator.

During Christmas, the place was magical!

The property is wonderful and in a beautiful location. Great rooms and a lot of things to see and do. Nothing.
-
The location was the best, and the food at the Lodge was great! Lily and Milenka are real assets to the resort! Theresa and Al Morgan The air was very dry! I wish we had use of a vaporizer!
-
Uncrowned. Their food was very good but very expensive. Not much choice for vouchers at the lodges.
-

Classy and beautiful
-
The property is beautiful and clean Air conditioning didn’t work

Our purpose in being at the Lodge was to attend the Music Festival which we enjoyed very much. The Lodge itself is about a 10 minute walk from the music venues which was very convenient. We also appreciated transportation to and from the airport at Haley. No suggestions for improvement.
