Overall, I had a good stay. The hotel is in a perfect downtown location, making it easy to walk to nearby attractions. Offer a good breakfast, and jacuzzi was a great amenity to relax in after a long day. The room was okay, bed was smaller and less comfortable than expected, the water pressure in bathroom was low. Despite these minor issues, the excellent location, good breakfast, and relaxing jacuzzi made for an enjoyable stay.

Was amazing. This hotel is older, but great location. The only “issue” is the bar across the road (Hero Bar) had live music until 2:00 - 3:00 AM Friday and Saturday night.

For an older hotel the Pegasus didn't disappoint. If your looking for quiet this is not the place. Willy t's parties till the wee hours of the night. The Pegasus is great for being centrally located for all the happening in key west. Great spot for a night or 2.

Liked the art deco style. Located halfway down Duval St on the corner. Pool on 2nd floor was very nice. No charge for parking but the lot is a couple blocks away. No problem because we walked everywhere. Walgreens, in old theatre, right around corner.

During our stay, the room above us flooded, sending water into our room and soaking some of our belongings, including my CPAP machine. We were forced to move rooms in the middle of our vacation and were repeatedly told the manager, Sandy, would contact us. I asked several times during our stay and was always told, "tomorrow." After checking out, I left two voicemails, sent two texts, called the hotel, and emailed reservations twice. As of June 27, nearly two months later, I have not received a single response. When our return flight was canceled, I asked if they could extend our stay at a discounted rate given everything that had happened. The answer was an immediate "no." Accidents happen, but ignoring guests afterward is unacceptable. It felt like the staff simply delayed until we checked out, hoping the issue would go away. For the price, the experience was disappointing. The continental breakfast was one of the worst I've had, the air conditioning in the replacement room did not keep up with the heat, and the customer service showed little interest in resolving our concerns. Key West has many hotels that value their guests. Based on our experience, this is not one of them. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

The history of the hotel is incredible! You can't beat the location. You are in walking distance to everything. The staff was friendly, the room was a good size and very comfortable. They put us in the same room they did the previous year which was perfect! The hotel is very clean and the continental breakfast was perfect! This was our second time staying here and this is our go-to when we visit Key West! There is literally nothing I don't like about the Pegasus!

Stayed three days, asked for additional coffee and its was delivered the next day. Closes to everything, totally walkable and parking was just down the block. I would stay again on next mini vacation.

The African American woman who worked the front desk all but our last day, was NOT helpful, was not friendly, bordering on RUDE!! in fact, she had her computer screen set up so that each time we approach the desk we couldn’t even see her face. Most of the time when I talk to her, I had to walk way to the side of her desk to see behind. We reported that the blow dryer wasn’t working in our room and she had the audacity to suggest it was our own fault because no one else in the whole hotel complained that their blow dryer wasn’t working. Couldn’t it have been possible that just ours was broke? And again did not offer to replace it at all and my daughter and I were both going out for the evening. In fact, she went so far is to tell us that there were no spare hairdryers. The lady who worked the last day was so helpful and she was so surprised at the other woman’s remarks because she said there were extra blow dryers. I will never suggest to any of my friends to stay there again.
