The Gardens Hotel

It is a GREAT property in Key West, right in the center of the action.

This is a lovely hotel. We stayed in on of the garden "cottages". It was a perfect room and offered a little privacy. I would definitely stay there again. It was a quiet area, but close to everything for walkability.

Absolutely love The Gardens! So convenient to Duval and the beach. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Amenities are awesome; pool, bar, wine room, full breakfast and music. Grounds are well taken care of and love the pathways with the birds, fish and tortoises! Beautiful! Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful gardens and grounds, clean rooms, love that the pool is open all night for swimming. Live music every afternoon. Great location centrally located in old town, convenient to everything! Will definitely book here again!

Absolutely gorgeous property and the staff was excellent.

Bathroom needs a few minor cosmetic touch-ups including new caulk around the tile/tub, fresh paint on the door, new shower curtain that doesn't blow inward while shower is running

This was our first time at the Garden House and we LOVED it! Everything about the place was outstanding. So much, that we booked again to stay there in October, 2026. The staff, drinks, food, grounds....Everything is just wonderful.l

The type of accommodation (we stayed in a garden cottage) fit with the area we were in which we liked - spacious and full of character The smoking at the bar we couldn't hang around that area, there didnt seem to be a seperate smoking area for guests

Our room was beautiful and so comfortable. The only drawback to our cottage was the fact that there was black mold in the beautiful walkin shower and burnt out light bulbs. Disappointing for such a wonderful place! We made great friends and promise to be back next year!! One final note to ALL the hardworking staff...thank you all! Everyone worked hard to make things comfortable and amazing!! Our room was cleaned everyday by the sweetest team of gals. Breakfast was made and served every morning by the sweetest people! The Gardens Hotel has..hands down..the best team working there!!! Thank you to all!!

The garden and the pool were very nice

The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, all the way down to the linens. Everything is spot on. The location is just off Duval Street but you would never know it. It is so charming. Our waitress/bartender was the best! We met the owner and all I can say is she is the most delightful woman. You can see she has her heart in the establishment. There is even a wine gallery on site. I can’t wait to come back!

Worth it you should book

Tortoises on property blew me away! Along with beautiful pool area. 4 poster king bed. Huge bathroom with spa tub and rain shower. Every member of the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Awesome poolside bar with live music during happy hour. Looking forward to our next trip here.....which we've already booked. Wish I would've found this place years ago.

Exceptional

Location, cottage, grounds, breakfast = all excellent! I would definitely recommend staying at the property! We visited in July where AC and ceiling fan were not sufficient to cool the bedroom at night affecting our ability to sleep. Floor fan was provided for the next 2 nights which helped significantly. While we had a nice stay, the cost was close to 2k for 3 nights. I'm not sure we will return there at that same rate.
