Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Ella's Cottages. The breakfast was fantastic! There was a variety of food offerings, all of which were fresh and tasty. Our room, although small, was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The one negative was having to pay a guest amenity fee totalling $50.56 ($45.00 + state and county tax fees) per day. It would be worth considering whether or not you are okay with paying the extra fee to stay here. I'm not sure we would return based on this alone, unless it was a better deal than other choices available. It is a wonderful place to stay, otherwise. It is close to Duval Street, where there is a lot of action, but the neighborhood surrounding it is very quiet. We enjoyed being within walking distance of most everything we chose to do!

Great hospitality, lovely calming spot, great staff and a nice communal space downtown key west.

Great location. The continental breakfast was helpful in saving time and money going elsewhere since we were just doing a long weekend and trying to get a lot of activities into a short trip. Room needed some repairs and maintenance. Mainly sloppy workmanship like paint on the floors making them appear dirty, shower head loose behind tile, etc. All the rooms in KW have gotten expensive and you'd think at the higher price points there would be a bit more attention to detail...

We loved everything about this property. Location, room, beds/pillows, facilities, and especially the welcoming staff. We didn’t want to leave.

Ella’s Cottages is the perfect place to stay in Key West. The property is charming, beautiful and centrally located. The neighborhood is safe & quiet. The rooms are clean & well appointed. Bed is very comfortable. The staff is great! They tend to your every need with kindness and warmth. The pool is small but cozy. Breakfast is available all day.

Lovely Inn in an amazing location, just a couple blocks from Duval Street. Great pool and lounging area. Very clean! Breakfast was a nice touch as well. Staff were super lovely. The Sweet Rooms were a little small. We travelled far to the Keys so had quite a bit of luggage with us. Would be perfect for a weekend especially if you were not needing to travel far.

The room itself was extremely small and clearly not designed for spending much time in. The room smelled strongly like chlorine, and the LED light on the ceiling fan wouldn’t turn off at night. It was also cramped enough that my shoulder would hit the TV when walking past the bed. Storage space was very limited, especially in the bathroom if you’re someone who likes room to get ready. Also, for three straight days, the same old man was floating in the pool the entire time, which somehow became part of the experience.

My stay at ellas cottages was great, the room was very clean and cold all night. The location was central to everything and the pool was refreshing. I was greeted by Nora, she was so sweet and made me feel so welcomed throughout the trip. The breakfast setup was phenomenal.

The property was very well maintained and so cozy! It was close enough to everything, but far enough away to be peaceful and relaxed. Dwight at the front desk was amazing! He treated us like gold and had the best personality!

Location is excellent Breakfast is a very low quality, paid parking however the lot belongs to the property and we were charged quite a lot per night, plus very thin walls, you can hear neighbours

A huge plus is that they offer onsite parking, which is rare and super convenient in Key West. It made our trip so much easier and stress-free. We truly had a wonderful time here, and I would definitely book again on my next trip. Highly recommend!
