Cute place. Small but adequate rooms. At the southern tip of the island. Breakfast and happy hour.

The hotel was nothing like it was portrayed in the photos. I could have lived with that, however the entire hotel gave off a foul smell of rotting seaweed. When I asked the manager for a refund for the second night of my stay I was told I needed to contact Expedia. I did contact them and they told me I needed to collect the refund directly from the hotel. I asked to speak directly to the manager (a cowardly looking little man with a beard) and he escalated the situation accusing me of verbally and physically assaulting him (neither was true) and proceeded to call the police. Three uniformed Monroe County officers stood by and explained that they could not resolve the disagreement as it was a civil manner and had to order us to leave the property despite having paid for the upcoming night. So I'm out $442 for a night I didn't spend at this property and had to be subjected to the police running the ID's for my wife and I. Awful experience all the way around. Very unfriendly and dishonest staff. I would not recommend staying here unless you enjoy the smell of rotting seaweed filling your nostrils.

Loved dealing with the front desk clerk! Was was a joy to talk to. Everything was very clean, pretty quiet. Loved the pools! Nice job of keeping it hush hush about the dead body we smelled for two days!! Nice job of airing out the 2nd floor after removing said body from the property. That was a little inconvenient! Overall a great place to stay. Very chill, nice staff, chill pool (appreciate no kids), and great location.

to overlook the need for updating and a power wash. They ware very accommodating when my flight was delayed 8 times. Late checkout and a day by the pool. Thanks for that.

Limited parking. Only 6 tight parking spaces with a $30 fee if you want to park onsite. Our room was extremely small with no space to open up our carryon luggages and toiletry bags. The bathroom had no counter space and the shower was so small with a shower head that faced the wall, so it made showering really difficult. The bed was so uncomfortable and had many deep dents in it. During the night we could smell that awful seaweed smell from the ocean coming into the air conditioning vent into our room. During the evening, we tried to enjoy the pool, but had to share it with all the other critters that lived on the property. Swimming with lizards is not my idea of a relaxing poolside evening. On top of that the staff there was extremely rude and unwelcoming. We are so glad that it was just a one night stay. The next morning we could not wait to get out of there. I would’ve been OK with all the room and property issues but because of the customer service that we received, I highly recommend everyone to stay away from this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Southernmost Inn. The property has such a quaint, charming feel, and our room was a great size with everything we needed. The amenities were excellent throughout our stay. What really stood out was the staff—they were incredibly helpful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do around the area. You could tell they genuinely wanted us to have a good experience. The location is fantastic too, just a short walk to Duval St, so we could easily head out to explore without needing a car. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place to stay!

Absolutely the best spot in Key West quiet away from everything. We use this hotel every year.

We had spoken with water pressure in the shower. As soon as we spoke to the front desk (Anthony was extremely helpful and very polite) I was taken care.

The staff could have been a little more friendlier and the place needed some updates in the rooms. The bathroom was a little too small and the room needs more storage places for your clothes. And fix the floors!
