I always enjoy staying at South Winds. They treat you good, I hate to see the historic motel demolished in next few years, that of KW will not be the same. 4 **** stars

Place was ok, Bar on premise and they had music, my room had ants(I told em and came and sprayed), pool was clean, the roosters were cool, They want 22.50 a day to park, waived it I'm handicap

This was our 5th stay here. If you need modern then this is not for you. This is a quaint and charming motel that is clean and well maintained but old school charm. The breakfast consists of fresh muffins, bagels, yogurt, fruit and cereals along with choices of juice, milk and water. If you are like us and just need a safe and clean place to sleep, shower and recharge, this is it. We will be back next January for stay number 6!!!! It is only one block from Duval so you have the proximity to the most famous street on the island without all the noise wafting right up to your windows. The staff is always so nice and go out if their way to make sure you have a memorable stay!! Enjoy!!

Dated but very cute! Beds were comfy and linens smelled very clean. Unfortunately no hot water made showering chilly. Pool was clean warm and very nice!
