Beautiful property, clean room, very friendly staff specially our valet driver Ricky who gave us great tips to enjoy our time around town.

Just unfortunate we were there during a bad season of sargassum which is very smelly. They say it usually lasts about 3 weeks (mid May to early June) but has been about 2 months. This hotel is located on the south side of town right on the Atlantic. Other than that, it was good. Obviously they have no control over the algae problem.

I really liked that we could also go to Casa Marina next door to swim and eat as well!

    The staff was nice

Forced valet was an annoyance (50/day), elevators almost always had one broken, sometimes taking up to 10min of waiting to use it. Restaurant on-prem didn't have many options for people who don't eat seafood.

The stay was enjoyable, with a great proximity to Duval Street and all that comes with that. The Sargassum was no bueno, but that's not the hotel's fault.

So we booked this place because it was beach front and had a pool. The stench of the seaweed was so bad you couldn’t sit on the beach or swim in the ocean. There is no microwave in the room. The refrigerator door didn’t close all the way. No ac in the bathroom. They charge you $50.00 a night for valet parking which we didn’t know. On the positive side the room was nice and so was the pool. Drinks were good, expensive but good.

Room was great, bar and restaurant was excellent especially breakfast! Staff were friendly, not picking but almost no decent shade in the onsite pool and one elevator down, great stay otherwise!

The hotel wasn’t as nice and well maintained as expected.

What I feel was the biggest turn down was the hotel fee, valet, and incidentals. Hotel nightly fee $67 per night definitely not worth it at all. $50 valet was crazy no other option they said because there isn't enough parking however we were all over the parking which was always empty. The incidentals $200 per night they will keep taking $ out even if you haven't spent the full amount of incidentals held for the stay. The last night before check out around 10p they called to say we need to take out more incidentals. We said no you dont we still haven't spent what you have already held. Overall it was good we did have a memorable time just felt the prices were not worth it.

Everything was wonderful except for thee seaweed smell, which Iater on found out, they have the option to clean up. It was a consent smell like an outhouse and yes, it did reach past the hotel beach, swimming pool, court yard, and up to my room that I could smell it whenever I opened my balcony door. They tried to say its the time a year. They need to post this then on the site. Due to this smell/seaweed I did not see 1 person get in the water/ocean (you couldn't). Only time anyone was on the Reach's beach was when the pool was packed and no lounge chairs available. This is part of the experience (white sand and beach), is why I picked this destiny. Everything else was wonderful. I won't go back ONLY because of this horrific smell, and that is the only reason.

Our first time to Key West….the seaweed was horrendous as was the sewage smell. The room was the nicest thing about the property. Restaurant was way overpriced and wouldn’t split checks for our group of 12. Pool service was the only thing exceptional (Stephanie). Hardest workest woman on the island. Pool deck had roosters and lizards which were fine but there was also animal excrement that wasn’t cleaned up. We have been told the hotels on the gulf side ate better so we may try one of those next time. Overall disappointed in the town and Hilton.
