La Quinta by Wyndham Kingsport Tri Cities Airport

The room was not new, but in good condition. There is a lot of light pollution, so if you need a dark room to sleep, it might be difficult to sleep. The very loud truck that decided 5 AM is a good time to rev their engine wasn’t helpful. That wasn’t the hotels fault, just an inconsiderate guest.

Very run down, did not look like the pictures, not clean and should not be rated 3 star hotel.

Breakfast was really awful Dried up food no fruit no yogurt coffee was like dishwasher very dissapointed worst ever I didn't like anything .no ATM .no computer or printer Noisy as hell doors slamming And banging all night long .had no sleep Shuttle to Airport was 3 mins away the hotel charged me 15.00 Dogs barking most night .worst hotel I ever stayed at

My ac wasnt the best in the room,The floors could've been swept better but over good stay would definitely recommend...

Good overall hotel - Close to the Bristol Racetrack

Had a pool Dirty linen, dirty bathroom, smell in the room. Noisy thru out the day and night.

It was adequate for close to airport.

This property is poorly managed. The manager has very bad communication skills and is not friendly at all. The lobby and other common areas were unclean. The floor of the room was not clean. A desk light in the room did not work. The bed was very comfy, but that was the extent of the comfort in this hotel. It does appear to be under a remodel. They charge $15 for a shuttle to/from the airport. The airport is 2.6 miles (5 min) away from the hotel. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel at this time.

I should have known it was going to be terrible when I stood at the counter for 5 minutes before anyone came to check us in. The staff were not friendly (at check in or check out). Got to the room and it smelled musty and felt damp. There were toenail clippings on the floor by the bed and trash on the bathroom floor. We had to get housekeeping to come vacuum. The bathtub took forever to drain and would get backed up while waiting for the water to turn hot (which took several minutes). The beds made a metal drum sound when turning over. However, the beds were comfortable and the water pressure was good. The breakfast was nasty and cold. The waffles were rubbery, the eggs had no taste and the oranges were green and hard. It was so bad we opted not to eat there the second morning. Our second night we had to park on the street and prayed our car didn’t get towed. There were 4 big construction trucks taking up 5-6 parking spots leaving hardly any spots for the customers. For the price we paid I am extremely disappointed and upset. I understand the prices were jacked up due to it being race weekend but had I known what we were in for, we would have stayed elsewhere. We will definitely not stay there again.

Completely filthy dirty place. Never go here! Feces in the shower. Floors never cleaned! Gross!

Cons: Breakfast was terrible, like inedible. - no juice during our entire stay (we had kids with us). - the eggs and sausage were inedible due to quality and flavor. - someone left a waffle cooking so long that we smelled it in the elevator, so the front desk had smell it too. I ended up throwing it away just so myself and the rest of the guests didn't have to be tortured by the smell. There was no way to turn off the alarm clock in one of our rooms, so we ended up unplugging it, but that is also the bedside outlet. Lastly, the tubs were disgusting. In fact, note to the cleaning staff: you need to clean the entire room, even what you can't see. - My senior citizen mom dropped her cup, and the straw rolled behind the bed. It was so nasty that I threw it away and bought her a new one.

The area was calm and quiet. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of parking around the hotel.

We used to stay here a lot when we flew out of trust airport. It was always well maintained, and we always enjoyed our ride and dealing with the staff. This place has gone downhill dramatically. The current management and staff have zero people skills. It took us an hour to check in because they tried to put us in a regular double bed instead of the King executive suite we booked. Upon our return trip, the front desk clerk tried to charge us $15 to pick us up from the airport in the shuttle, even though we had paid $5 per day to park our car there and the shuttle was supposed to be free when we returned. This was definitely our last day at this unfriendly unprofessional dump.

Nothing Everything

This is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever went to. Everything was on my maintained down the halls. My room was clean, had hair and dirt and grime under the bed and in the bathroom, I ended up calling Expedia to refund it. They had to go through the property and the property would not refund my money so I ended up leaving and went to the hotel across the street, which was much cleaner do not stay here you will get some type of bedbug or something because it is so gross

This place is quite dated and is average, at best. It serves its purpose in an area with few other options. I think I’ll explore the Sleep Inn next time and avoid this property. It says it is under renovation but that wasn’t apparent. Very basic with a questionable level of clean. Convenient to airport is about it.
