Quality Inn Kirkland

First impressions were not negative until I had gotten to my room. The room smelled musty, and the bedspread and headboard were filthy. Handprints on the door mirror and streaks of dried white stuff on the headboard. The air conditioner unit control is on the wall and staff wasn’t helpful in getting it to turn to A.C instead of heat. The space between the door and floor is big, You see a lot of light poor in at night plus the walls are extremely thin. My experience the morning I checked out was unpleasant. Check out is at 11am, yet house keeping attempted to come in my room at 10 am when I’m still in bed. I have previously worked housekeeping at hotels and the universal hotel rule is you don’t go into a room unless you know for certain they have checked out. Even with the “do not disturb “ sign on my door, they still disturbed me. Front desk wasn’t helpful, she said housekeeping “doesn’t have a way to know who’s checked out. So they go knocking on doors before check out time? Disturbing sleeping customers? Ridiculous and I will not return again, and will not recommend anyone book at this establishment.

Our room smelled like smoke even though it’s a non-smoking property. I think it was being pulled in from the air vents from people smoking outside. The room was very small. Just basically room for the bed and not much more. There were homeless people sitting outside, and some were inside trying to talk the staff into letting them have rooms, making the check-in process very slow, though the staff were doing their best. The hotel was old and dingy, and the parking situation was sketchy. There was a rat in the parking lot. They did give us a refund for two of the nights when we moved somewhere else, which I appreciated.

I booked the room in hopes my boyfriend could swim in the pool while I attended a concert unfortunately, of course the pool was under maintenance so he had nothing to do

No USB connection but clean and upgraded

AC kept turning itself off, which would have been no bueno had it been hot. Bed was quite comfortable.

The location was close to the area I needed it to be It was noisy. I could hear people walking on the floor above me. I could hear the water running when people used the bathroom at night. I could hear the shower running in the morning. It was hard to get a good nights rest

The floor lamp in room 205 did not light; the water temperature during my shower fluctuated; and I had to search for a staff person to ask for more scrambled eggs at 7:50am. This was a different experience than my previous, so I was disappointed. I expect better service when I pay over $115 for a single-person stay of one night. Thank you.

close to freeway

Rooms very outdated and squeaky uncomfortable beds. Wooden doors that can see through cracks. Wouldn’t stay here again. No elevators

The room was great. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really impressive, we did not expect the variety.
