Radisson Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista South

Location The property is using fake advertising, using pictures of a suite they do not have. In my case I rented a junior king suite that included a kitchen, a small counter with 2 seats and upon entering the suite none existed. When down stairs only to be told they do NOT have a suite with kitchen ( note I was not the only one with the same complaint and giving a hard time to the poor kid at the front desk) So, if you rent it because you have a family and are in need of the kitchen and fridge Don’t DO IT, they lied about it and all you get is “ I’m sorry” no refund, no discount nothing they just blandly lied and use false advertising. Worse than that my duvet smelled like sweat. Come to find out when I’m checking out I see they only change the blankets not the actual duvet/ comforter. Nasty and a health hazard.

It was great all... Nothing.. all was very good

The check in process was seamless. The building I was in has room key entry only at all access points. The room was spacious with a ceiling fan over the seating area. I needed maintenance to come out first night, and the worker was prompt, courteous, and did his best to remediate the problem. Centrally located to Old Town, gas stations, restaurants, Walmart, and interstate. Pool area was as pictured. The opportunities I had to utilize the pool were thwarted by weather- was closed due to lightning in area -but this is not the fault of hotel. Servers at restaurant were pleasant and seating adequate. Had an issue both night with TV and was not charged resort fees at checkout to accommodate for inconvenience. The room: Bathroom did not have exhaust fan so floor stayed wet, and mirror across from bathroom got fogged by steam. Mold has built up on ceiling and around the baseboards, presumably because a lack of ventilation for steam. The seating area has 2 chairs which were covered in stains. Most importantly, the TV did not work the entire time. Reported this issue to the front desk first night, which they promptly sent out a maintenance worker. The worker spent 30 minutes, attempting to connect the smart TV to the Internet, but was unsuccessful. Was told the establishment had switched to different Internet service two weeks prior and some rooms did not have Internet connectivity, even when hardwired with an ethernet cord. Was offered to switch rooms, but by this time it was nearly midnight. Reported this again in the morning and was told maintenance would be out to correct the situation, but was again unsuccessful. Upon checkout, I reported the inability to use the TV the entire trip, and was refunded the resort fees, which equated to roughly $75. The restaurant: The breakfast is buffet style with limited options. The beverages were limited to water, juice, coffee, and milk. Thankfully I had a voucher as cost was $17 per person and 1st day eggs were cold and all meats ( bacon & sausage links) were gone and not replenished during the 15 mins I was there. 2nd day was a little better but fruit was picked over and only 2 servers for a room full of people - took a hot minute to get drinks.

Everyone was so courteous and caring and most of all my kids enjoyed immensely the waterpark on the property go Raddison

Room was falling apart, was hurt by a mirror that fell of track and slammed my hand ..

Room service was excellent. Staff is very polite and friendly.

Budget friendly and close to Disney. Took almost 30 minutes to check in due to 1 person at the counter. Had to park on the opposite side of the room due to a full lot. Carpets in the hallway are gross. AC is either freezing or sweating.

Everything was amazing

We had the junior room with the balcony. It was a really good size room. The pool and lazy river were not over crowded and stayed open past their posted sign as long as it was quiet. Everything was very clean and everyone was very nice.

The hotel is very dated and not the cleanest. Had to ask front desk to get our room cleaned twice on a 6 day stay and the only thing they did was make bed and added towels. Counters were never cleaned, even in bathroom. There was a wet towel and plastic bag on side of the lazy river that stayed there all week. The front desk agents weren’t friendly at all. Our door to the room ended up breaking and we couldn’t get in until a maintenance guy came and fixed it. Took about an hour. The waitresses at the bar and buffet were awesome!!! Towels at the pool are the size of large hand towels. Very small. We were on the 2nd floor and the hallway smelled like pot. As for pool and lazy river, they were nice but you’d have to bring your own floaties if you wanted them in the lazy river as the 2 onsite were busted. Also the water slide wasn’t open. I wouldn’t go in hot tub as water was greenish. Hotel is very close to restaurants and gift shops. Good location.

Location and price make this one a good deal. It has a lazy river and a water slide so kids are occupied. The place is tore down, needs maintenance asap. I guess now that Radisson bought it, it will be fixed. Still good value for the price.

The hotel charges an amenity fee and falsely advertises a lazy river. Apparently it had mechanical issues and was shut down. The rooms themselves pretty basic but carpeting is dirty and old. Shower pressure was not great either.

Property was clean and easily accessible. The staff was great. I was slightly disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open but the property is just a cool out of the way place to stay without the hassle

Great place to stay and close to everything. Love the lazy river and the fact there is a Mexican restaurant in the lobby.

Room was clean, pillows were very comfy. Parking was easy, however the entrance was not well lit.
