La Quinta Resort & Club, Curio Collection by Hilton

It's nice resort with lots of potential with friendly and helpful staff. The whole place needs major remodeling and some good basic housekeeping. The resort is dirty, filled with trash everywhere specially around the pool areas. Towels are dirty, restaurants look run down. I will not stay there again.

- Good for all ages (couples, children, etc) - A lot of room types - Historic feel, character - Multiple pools Cons: - Our a/c unit was making a loud sound so we had trouble sleeping our 1st night, but the staff moved us the 2nd night to a better room and we slept great - We couldn't find 2 lounge chairs available at the adults only pool (so we went somewhere else) - When it's hot, the resort is spread out and it's uncomfortable to walk far

I also enjoyed a treatment at the spa, and it was such a relaxing experience. Even though this is a very large resort, you can tell they pay attention to every detail and truly care about their guests. There was a small issue with my room when I arrived, but the staff resolved it quickly and in the best possible way. I really appreciated their kindness and professionalism. Thank you for making my birthday getaway so special. I would definitely come back to this beautiful resort!

Clean and beautiful Took time for room to cool down. Water pressure in the shower was a trickle.

This resort is amazing. Has everything to have a relaxing vacation. The grounds are beautiful surrounded by the mountains. We loved all the pool choices.

Beautiful property and kind staff. Our room was large, smart TV was easy to use, and clean. So many pools that even when it’s busy, you can find somewhere with privacy.

BUYERS BEWARE. Turned up and paid for an upgrade and there was a trash bag waiting outside room my room. Moved to another room really far off the property in what looked like a housing community. Staff were not helpful. Immediately checked out and asked for a refund. Hotel desk will tell you that you have to contact Hotels.com. Hotels.com will attempt to contact the property (but to no avail) and you’ll not receive a refund. Misleading advertising on property standard (definitely not 5 star), poor service from both the La Quinta and Hotels.com.
