Candlewood Suites Lafayette by IHG

love the kitchen . such friendly staff.

It was a nice place and staff was very helpful.

Superb

Rooms are quiet considering the property is next to I-65. My room while clean had an odor of cigar smoke.

Staff is very helpful !

Original booked room unavailable so given a downgraded room. Major leak in the room. Full bed and dresser with contents got wet. No follow up from hotel or IHG. No other accommodation given. No refund. Terrible stay.

The washers didn't do a good job. The dishwasher was very noisy and did not clean the dishes. Had to clean hair out of the bathtub drain. Had to fix toilet seat. No hot water on some of the showers or at the kitchen sink. Was supposed to have cleaning service one day and didn't get any days. The staff was excellent and very helpful.

I do not recommend. Spoke to the manager who was very new to the job. He listened but because he was new he wasn’t really able to do anything. Avoid this property!

The room was ran down, bad smell of either dirt or smoke. Bathroom floor had a dirt in the corners, bath towel with some kind of reddish/purple spot. But the filtiest was the curtain in the window!!! Nasty! I was not even white or gray, it was dirty dark gray, never washed or changed for ages! Very bad experience! Would not recommend.

Is ok

There are cockroach in the room crawling and informed front desk the following morning to clean/pesticides because we booked 2 nights but they did not do any action on it. I requested to move to another room but the front desk said it was fully book. I asked if we can just cancel the 2nd night but she said it cannot be cancelled so we stayed and deal the cockroach for another night.

Clean and comfy hotel and great customer service to Chequita, speedy check in and great services. Will be back definitely and highly recommended.

Everything in the room was fine, just not exceptional. Staff was very nice.

That check out time is 11a, I feel like the pool may need a deep clean

Stay away from this place

Clean room

No breakfast available. So could not be the reason for the cost difference below. Looked at booking direct. And booking.com. same room and starting room rate. Direct finished 65 higher in taxes and fees. Does candlewood tack on an in-house reservation fee?
