Courtyard by Marriott Lafayette Airport

This was our second stay here. As before, the staff is awesome! I can not repeat that enough, The staff is awesome!!! I have an unreasonable child that demanded a pillow fort. Our room had 5 pillows. I went downstairs around 9:30 to ask for some extra pillows. What was brought to us was 8 pillows!! Awesome pillow fort for the kid, happy mom and dad!! Thank you so very much, we'll be back soon.

Room was hot the whole time, the air was on low but the positioning of the air conditioner underneath the cabinet was not useful. Hot tub was broke, pool was dirty looking a foggy. There is no bistro, just a Starbucks in the lobby.

Room was in need of update , Phone was out of order , toilet handle was installed improperly, lots of rust and missing paint on door frames . Room was clean but just felt old . AC was not cooling properly,also waited in lobby for over and hr along with 4 families to check in . I believe it was network problems ,not sure . The coffee shop was nice , I think this place just wasn't what I expected from the price I paid .A lot of people recommend this place to me. It just wasn’t for me it may be great to someone else.

Good clean hotel. Rooms were very cold. Pool was warm. Hor coffee ready and available

Hotel was great. Warm indoor pool was the icing on the cake. Nice size room, comfortable bed, and enough room on the in-room table to have dinner. Only wished free breakfast was available.

Breakfast was included in the price and was wonderful. The room was a nice size. The location was close to everything. When I book a hotel, 3 things are very important - refrigerator, microwave, and pool. When we arrived, the refrigerator would shut off after 2 hours. later that afternoon it stopped working completely. I asked the front desk about it and was told that they would bring me a new refrigerator. That never happened I have a little one who likes milk before bed so we had to keep filling up a small ice chest with ice to keep the milk cold. 2nd problem was the hotel hosted a softball team due to a tournament in the area. 20 10 year old unsupervised girls in a pool was quite an unpleasant event. The pool and area around the pool was never cleaned after that left. You could not see the bottom of the pool because it was so dirty. My little one was determined to swim and would pick up clumps of hair while swimming. All around the seating area of the pool was clumps of hair everywhere you looked. It was pretty disgusting. The hotel should have planned to have that pool cleaned after hosting a large travel team of 10 year olds.

But, my husband sees everything. There was a stain on the sofa and a huge spiderweb in the corner...

Everything was great!

Wifi did not work the entire team, and there was no true breakfast service even though I purchased breakfast with the reservation.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were cozy. We had adequate room for our stay. I would stay there again.
