There was no breakfast but the coffee bar kiosk was handy. Air was cool and efficient Cons We bought a suite and I thought it would be worth it however the couch was a low quality slightly unclean uncomfortable thing Coffee should be a pod type maker with cups and not the weird plastic tray in a tiny machine that no one uses I understand you may want to sell the coffee in the lobby but how about including one trip to that coffee bar gratis with the room then you don’t even need that weird plastic set up in the room itself

This hotel is very dated and not very clean. Smells of smoke constantly. You have to ask for new towels every day and they take 2+ hrs, then they arrive with hairs all over them. They do not clean your room, even on the 4th day we had to beg to have them clean out the trash and vacuum.

I couldn’t get into my timeshare in San Clemente when visiting Southern California for a high school reunion. So, I opted for Sonesta in Laguna Hills instead. This was a very affordable, clean and convenient alternative! I liked having the fridge in the room and also access to a microwave in the lobby. The pool and hot tub were also great to be able to use! I’ll return if I find myself in the same situation!

Hello i hate to say this but this the worst experience i’ve ever had the room was definitely really dirty and smelled terrible how can you present the room to your costomers I will never stay there anymore horrible can’t not sleep

There was no one answering the phone for hours when I tried to call. It looked like they were short staffed. The room was clean but the hotel might want to get new carpet- looked dirty in spots.

Worse, I called the hotel over 15 times over 2 days and no one picked up my call! Some of the room furniture was worn and had holes. We won't be staying there again.

Front desk Staff were sweet but it seemed like they were low staffed with housekeepers. It took them all day to finally give me towels and toilet paper. I let them know at 11am and didn’t receive it until 8pm. Carpet didn’t seem to be vacuumed.

This place needs an update. Carpet areas were filthy. Rooms were not very clean. For example a lot of dirt and dust under the microwave. Patios hadn’t been cleaned off in weeks. Coffeemakers are small and flimsy. The restaurant is undergoing renovations so we were made aware of that. But coffee place didn’t open till 7 am and it was ran by the person also doing the front desk. The poor front desk person was in charge of everything. It needs more perks if you’re not going to have much amenities close by. Was super disappointed in this property. This is one where the pictures really fool a person.

Small room. Mostly quiet but occasional door slamming. Dirty/stained/worn out carpet in hallway. No restaurant or lounge for dinner. NO microwave! Would not stay here again.

Room was clean, and bed was very comfortable. The hallway carpets desperately need replaced. STRONG manufactured scent in lobby and hallways so if you are sensitive to fragrance I’d suggest against this hotel. Pool was very nice - warm and clean. Some staff is great, some is cold and uninviting. Constantly had to ask for fresh / new towels for both the room and pool. $10 a night for parking. Overall okay stay.

I was more than disappointed about the cleanliness of this hotel. The lobby area in front of the elevator was dirty. When I got off on the 4th floor it smelled like vomit and the carpet was heavily soiled from the beginning to my room. Because I saw the cleaning crew I didn’t say anything but assumed it would be taken care of. The next morning it was very apparent nothing was done and with the rising heat the smell was amplified. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, I was told they have the carpet clean every 3 months and guests spill things and allow their pets to pee on floor. I told them it needed to be done more frequent or have staff take care of it immediately for the well being of other guests. In addition, my bathtub was very soiled. I was afraid to take a shower. Left and took shower elsewhere. Will not stay here again

It seems poorly managed compared to the other Sonesta’s in the area. Front desk staff were consistently unhelpful, the hallways, stairwells, pool and parking lot all had trash just sitting, and desperately needed a deep clean. The pullout bed was so old and dirty we couldn’t use for our kids. The main bed was decent and the location has good freeway access, but I’d highly recommend one of the other nearby hotels instead.
