Where do I even begin? We reserved the anniversary suit. When we first arrived I notice right away how old everything is which isn't so bad because it gave it a little rustic look. As I entered the room it was burning up so I immediately turned on the Little window A/C unit and ceiling fan which I will say cooled everything rather quickly. I wanted to darken the room and have privacy but one of the sets of blinds were broken and did not drop down and another set in the kitchen wouldn't close and was missing a strip. In the kitchen was a fridge, microwave, sink, and stove along with the hot tub yes you heard me right, across from the stove was the spa tub you can cook and bathe at the same time. The bathroom had a hole above the shower knob which was patch with medical badge, yep dark green badge they wrap around your arm after a blood draw and there was no available towels. Up until this point I figured it's fine we'll make due we're not staying long it's just a place to rest or heads but as we went to leave our room the door would not open we had to call the front desk to come let us out. He said you have to turn and lift but when he went to show us he got stuck in our room for a minute before getting the door opened. Needless to say I do not recommend this place and will not come back.

Young man who greeted us was very polite and helpful, but not always available. Overall property needs updating and maintenance; the pool was not clean and filled with debris, furniture was dusty. AC in one room did not work. But still a basic place to stay overnight.

Their mirror was not cleaned OR cleaned with wrong product bc you couldn’t see reflection from it. Thankfully I had windex wipes in n my car. Other than that, very comfortable beds soft towels and a really pretty huge fireplace with friendly staff and the location to town is outstanding, walkable! Great value. Loved the old fashioned key!

The room was mostly clean and orderly, the beds were clean (which to me is the most important thing), but the floors left our bare feet black and there was trash from previous guests in the shower. For me the biggest issue was the lack of maintenance. The shower handle literally came off in my hand and it was almost impossible for me to get a decent temperature setting. The blinds in the room were destroyed and broken. I was honestly shocked at the condition of them. I booked this property specifically because I wanted an outdoor seating area, which it did have, but it was so filthy that there was really no point in sitting out there, especially because broken down appliances were left there to rust and there was an employee smoking beneath us. A power wash, a leaf blower, and junk haul would go a long way in improving the guest experience. Overall it was fine for 2 nights and if none of the above really bothers you then it’s a good enough bargain, but I would rather stay somewhere in better condition next time I visit Lake Arrowhead.

The hotel itself is older but cleanliness is an issue. There was hair in bathroom sink, shower, and tub. The bed smelled clean and no stains or hair. You get what you pay for and it’s a decent place to stay for 1 night. Has beautiful wooden swing if you go towards back of property. Must see!

Not great, price reflects the product

Our church members said that they like the place especially its so near the Lake Arrowhead Village.

Room smelled of mold when we came back from concert. Ended up leaving at 9pm when nobody would answer the phone or office. Still waiting for refund. We used to love this place.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. There were spider webs around the door, which gave a poor first impression, and the room didn’t appear to have been cleaned thoroughly. The chair in our room was especially dirty—we didn’t feel comfortable sitting in it at all. I think this property has potential because the owner genuinely seems to care about guests. Investing in more thorough housekeeping or a different cleaning team would make a huge difference and greatly improve the overall guest experience.

Room was dirty, we paid for 2 anniversary suits but was told that there is only one. But Expedia allowed to book 2 suits. Additionally property was very dirty and full of stains on bedsheets

The room smelled terrible like it hadn’t been rented in years. The room had a very small AC window unit which only went up to 78 and the room was hot, muggy and stuffy. The air even with the ceiling fan didn’t circulate well at all. Also the jetted tub was in the same area as the kitchen. The star ratings and photos were so inaccurate I just couldn’t believe it. I never had this experience before. But I would never go back there nor recommend this property. Expedia was able to give us half of our refund however the management didn’t even bother to refund the other half. They instead wanted to show us another room which I wouldn’t except after the fact. I just wanted out.

Beautiful quiet cabins. Very close to lake Arrowhead Village. Would definitely stay there again

They had new ownership since reservation was booked but that should not have affected us or time spent waiting.

This place is a gem, so cozy and comfortable.

This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences our group has ever had. We were traveling from out of town with our grandchildren and made this reservation approximately two weeks in advance. A key reason we chose this property was the pool, which we knew would be important for the kids during our stay. Prior to arrival, we spoke with hotel staff multiple times. During those conversations, we were told only that the pool was not heated. At no point were we informed that the pool was actually completely closed, locked, and unavailable for guest use. This was a major and material omission that should have been clearly disclosed when we specifically asked about the pool, and it should also have been clearly stated on the hotel’s website. While we were en route to the hotel, we called to ask about early check-in. The communication was unclear and confusing, so we stopped at the property to verify our reservation in person. That is when we discovered the pool was fully closed and undergoing servicing. Had we been given honest and complete information ahead of time, especially knowing we were traveling with grandchildren and relying on the pool for part of our stay, we would have chosen a different hotel without hesitation. When we returned later that day at approximately 4:30 PM—well after the 3:00 PM check-in time—we were told our room was still not ready. Even more unacceptable, when we were finally given access to the room, it was not properly prepared for guests. It was missing basic furnishings and essentials, including a couch, chairs, table, shower curtain, towels, and curtains. It was shocking and unacceptable to be assigned a room in this condition after traveling with family and children. When we raised these concerns, management stated that the property had recently been purchased and attempted to place responsibility on the previous owner. That explanation does not hold up.

Good staff pool needed cleaned.

The location was great.

We slept on urine/feces stained blankets for 2 nights unknowingly. Was looking for my phone in the sheets and found it. Lodge confirmed the stains were there prior to us staying in and failed to fully inspect the sheeting before providing it to us. The best part is when we demanded a refund, they ignored my emails and calls. In fact, when we finally got ahold of someone they told us to "call back later" ended up opening a CC dispute to get my money back

The room smelled like stale cigarettes, the bed sheets had cigarette burns in them, the refrigerator was broken, there were no towels in the room (I had to ask for them from the front desk), one of the windows was missing a curtain, and the wifi only seemed to work near the lobby building. The room was clean, the lights worked, and the plumbing worked.

The rooms were not even close to what was advertised in the pictures posted on Expedia. Room was very musty smelling and everything in the room was falling apart. Definitely won’t be staying there.
