The Residence Inn was a very clean and well maintained hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. For our stay, we arrived very late for our reservation- and the only room left available was a handicap accessible room (which I didn’t want) but it was the only room available for the night. I specifically reserved a non-handicap accessible. They were very accommodating for the next day and we were able to change rooms for the remainder of our stay. The pictures on website don’t do the hotel justice- as the rooms and hotel have been updated and renovated. We were in town for a family reunion - and we would definitely stay here again since we have family in Lake Charles. We didn’t try breakfast, but it smelled really good and the complimentary cookies in the lobby were very good. The pool area could be a bit bigger, but there’s just not enough land for it. The kitchen was well equipped and although we had a room on the side where the highway was, the noise didn’t bother us. There was even a peek a boo view of a lake. Would definitely recommend this hotel! Clean, friendly staff, and updated rooms! Also, hotel is close to anything you need.

Last minute trip to the casinos. We normally get rooms at the Nugget, but they were full. This is a great alternative! Super clean and great breakfast! Beds are more comfortable than the Nugget’s!

hats off to the crew that made breakfast.....the bisquit and sausage gravy was the best I've ever had at a hotel. everything else was great, organized and clean. Highly recommended. I lost money at the casino!! not hotels fault lol

Room was clean. I wish they would have told me they were doing construction across the hall from my room. They started at a decent time and where gone when we got back. But other than that the stay was great.
