I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in! Staff was very friendly and I noticed treats for doggie clients and cookies for us humans! The room was roomy, clean and comfortable! The full breakfast was delicious! The lobby was welcoming! There was even a complimentary shuttle available on the weekends! I will put this one on my list for great places to stay in Lake Charles!

The location The ghetto rooms, the abundance of silicone in the bathroom, lack of water pressure, the leather sofa in my room was 40 years old and it showed.

Hotel is feeling run down. Staff was meh. Breakfast is gross with nasty eggs covered in cheap cheese. Curtain sheers n room were missing. Toilet ran. Room smelled. Just felt gross staying here.

Room was OK. Shampoo was not filled. Many of the bath products were not attached to the wall units.

Didnt have a blow dryer and took my wofe going down to get one when we waited for 1. Pictures on the website isn't the same as in person. There is no updated outlets for USB chargers so bring you a wall plug in. Everything in the room was outdated and was not worth the money. It was outdated in the room woth no blow dryer.

Morning staff was courteous Evening staff was not very friendly Arrived around 8:00. No one was at the front desk, pressed a little bell repeatedly, called the hotel number it rang but not answered. No note or anything to indicate why the front desk was unattended. Eventually a person emerged down the hall proclaiming she was in the restroom and was the only person on the shift. No apologies, no explanation was perturbed. Ice machine was not working. Bed had no bed spread. Shower floor was slimy and slippery- very dangerous. No way to take a cup of coffee to go - no lids. Had to ask for water.

Nothing, the rate is circa $20 lower than competitors in the area and I regret that I decided to try Staff, cleanliness, amenities…. No intention to go back

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I left after one night because the conditions were so filthy and unsanitary that I could not bring myself to stay another night. This was not simply an older hotel needing renovation. The property appeared severely neglected. There was excessive dust on furniture, lamps, curtains, blinds and surfaces; dirty carpets and floors; bugs in the room; stained and damaged furniture; deteriorating walls; rust and buildup in the bathroom; missing light bulbs; and a dirty window A/C unit and filter. The hotel was hot, smelled unpleasant, and common areas were poorly maintained. I even saw cigarette butts and debris left on the floor. I was so uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the bed that I slept fully clothed, in socks and a sweatshirt, on top of the bedding. I would not eat the breakfast because I had serious concerns about the overall sanitation of the property. The staff tried to help, but these problems clearly went beyond what individual employees could fix. I have extensive photos and video documenting these conditions and have reported my experience to Hotels.com. I also intend to report the property to Wyndham and appropriate authorities. The Wyndham name creates an expectation of basic cleanliness and maintenance. What I experienced was completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding this property.

The room itself was good. The problem is with the breakfast area it had several dead roaches on the floor and it was impossible to get beyond that.

Where do I start! Dead roaches laying on their back in the foyer, room had condensation on the mirror. The desk drawer was broken, two different lamps in the room. The luggage carts wheels were hard to maneuver. They had one front desk person who was overwhelmed and not very customer friendly. A broken light fixture literally hanging from the ceiling. The condensation dripping from the top floor onto the walls in the room! A disaster
