The Marco Hotel Lake Charles

Second, her AC did not work at all. She was hot all night and could not sleep. Third, her Tv sound came in but the screen was black. Lastly and probably the worst of all, while she was eating breakfast in her room a roach comes crawling down the wall right by her. I complained to front desk and he handed me an email to complain to, which happed to be an email not in service, so I looked up an email to the hotel online and sent in my complaint. I still haven’t gotten a response. I took a picture of the roach and sent that in the email as well. The hotel had a really strong gas smell throughout the halls and lobby and it was very HOT! I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Toilet and shower has hair everywhere.night Receptionist was not happy and look upset. Also the morning receptionist was wearing his air pods and brakefast never was enough. Coffie was terrible. Pancakes mixed not enough for everyone and he didn't pay attention terrible experience

They had left over dirty clothes in the cabinet and the bed looked like someone had been in it. The toilet was running none stop. And we did not stay we left and went back home in port arthur tx. Same as above.

Location Very old and dated. Room was not ready when we arrived. Booked a King settled for a double queen. Ceiling in lobby in need of major repairs. Elevator in need of maintenance. Breakfast was worst I have seen.

Property looks like it going thru some sort of renovation, but no one was working on anything. Night staff at check in was great. Breakfast was below average, and had no plates. A waffle has real trouble being eaten in/on a 4" styro bowl. Morning front desk guy says, "we're waiting on a delivery for them". My first thought, "isn't there a store close by"??

Staff was nice and did give me a lake view room.

We asked the hotel for our money back so we could find another hotel...they said is was non-refundable. This was my first experience with Expedia and will be my last

The hotel was old and rundown the AC didn’t blow cool staff wasn’t friendly and had a old odor

Good location and close to waterfront There were bugs in the room and rotting parts of the wall in the bathroom. There were also noisy guests across the hall as well as loitering in the parking lot.

Wonderful rooms cozy . Breakfast could be better . Staff is great will recommend

Emergency fire escape doors were locked and no egress!!

Well, no plates for breakfast. The pool area walls were falling apart. You werent suppoaed to use the ice makers. The stairs were so dirty.

The room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was perfect. The gym’s equipment needed to be worked on and the pool had some window problems. Ice machine was empty most of our visit. Super convenient for downtown Lake Charles and to our venue for Saturday night. Staff were super friendly. Would stay again when visiting LA.

Conveniently close to beautiful downtown, nice rooms. No shelf in the shower, had to buy bottle soap because i did not want to put my bar on the ground. Walls were thin. INTERNET WAS VERY SPOTTY, couldn't effectively do my work, tried using hotspot, but service inside made it worse.

I liked the size of the room and the convience to the casinos . The view was nice by the water. It could be more lit up up outside at night

Nice staff, clean room, good breakfast.

The floors were dirty and water pressure was really low but other than that it was fine. Also, the milk at breakfast was old

I had a wonderful stay slept like a baby
