Pinebrook Motel

They didn't provide fire wood to burn as it was chill when we went ,the very first day we asked to get lighter to burn the wood ( which was actually not the fire wood ) my husband brought lighter ( as donot have to burn as per staff ) and the oil to burn it because my son really want to sit near it and relax . The next day when we ask to arrange they simply said we must get our own wood to burn that sounds completely insane . Will never stay again My kids were very disappointed we stay for 3 nights and this is what you get in turn. And they also turn off the lights at the deck so cheap .

It was clean and organized The bathroom sink would not drain when it was being used. The water pressure in the shower was not very good. And the hot water in the shower did not last.

Heat didn’t work well

As a woman traveling alone I would not recommend this place. Only person on site to help me check in was the attendant who lived on site and smelled of alcohol from a mile away. There’s no way to lock the room from the inside besides the chain lock, and the one in my room was literally broken off the wall. No way control over temp in room either. I ended up finding somewhere else to stay.

Close to downtown The curtain was broke and we couldn’t close it so we had to tie it to close. The heat was hard to regulate so we had to keep opening the door to cool off (it was winter)

We asked to check in early and they said that was fine for an extra $25 charge which was totally acceptable to us so we could unload our vehicle and settle in. the location was good, just off main strip of Canada Rd in Lake George. It is definitely within walking distance to the center of town by the lake but we chose to drive because we're older and it was a cold weekend. We would definitely stay there again. The price was great and the winter carnival was fun. The only thing that we didn't like is that the motel parking lot is a hill and it snowed overnight which left it a bit slippery in the morning when it was time to load the truck for the return drive home.

It is extremely outdated. The temperature was so high that I didn't sleep at all. It was no thermostat in the room. I end up with the dry and bleeding nose. We left the place at 5 am, instead of 8am. Dirty towels.

It was a cute little place They had issues with the unexpected heavy snow storm. The had a delay plowing in driveway so our car was stuck for a little bit but all work out. Nice location and very friendly staff. View out the back was gorgeous

It would’ve been nice if the heat went past 68. Went on a mountain all day sometimes it’s nice to have a little bit more heat. Try to make sure the white linens are white not dirt stain.

The hotel was great! Walking distance to downtown Lake George Village. Very Quiet. Had a nice pool. Needs new mattresses.

The door to the room did not shut correctly, it had no deadbolt (just the lock on the door handle and a flimsy chain), no thermostat to control the heat, the bathroom window would not stay fully open (to try and cool the room down), no soap or toiletries in the bathroom, and an overall vibe that concerned me so much I left and paid for different accommodations. I really could not afford to do that but I felt so unsafe, I had to move to a different location. Really disappointed in the reviews of this place as I put trust in those and I feel the overall rating for this location was not accurate. The room was clean, so I guess there's that...

The room was warm and cozy. The staff that checked me in was amazing and made me feel welcome. Everything i needed was in the room ready. I will definitely come back to this Motel. There was nothing that I didn't like.
