The Georgian Lakeside Resort

Although only stayed for a night it was nice. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Enjoyed the pool before check with great scenery. Breakfast was excellent. I had an omelette and it was delicious. The proximity to Lake George Village is walking distance so you can park and not move your car.

The Georgian “Resort” is a motel with a pool, restaurant and lakeside bar. The room was very much a motel room. Thin walls, stained ceiling, but overall clean, and a wonderful shower and comfy beds. Staff were not super friendly, but were responsive when needed. Location is a bit further out from the main shopping area, but still close enough to walk. The Georgian lacks the charm and details that the surrounding properties have (flowers, pretty lighting, a pop of color) and looks dreary surrounded by the fun, campy competitors (less expensive, too) nearby.

Great view from the room, nice pool, great location to the strip, wish the main curtains closed all the way to block out the morning sun (we woke up late normally).

The check-in was seamless and the staff was amazing. For Lake George, I highly recommend this place. Rooms looked like they were newly updated. If you can spring for the lakefront view that would be a must. The pool was awesome and the cabana bar fun. We have teenagers and it was close enough to town where they could walk.

This was our first time staying here and the first time returning to Lake George in about 10 years. We chose this hotel based on price and overall ratings. We couldn't have been happier. The cabana bar was great and the staff working there was awesome. The entire property was clean and everywhere is safe here. We will return and this has become our go to place. I have to point out that their beds were the absolute most comfortable beds. I'd line to know what mattresses they use.

My stay here was lovely. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and spacious. The location is amazing - a minute walk to the busy lake George area (although I had no issue with noise at night). The only thing missing was complementary lotion to go with the bathroom stuff (they provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash). Also, the room had minimal lighting which isn’t terrible but it was a it dark for my taste. Otherwise a great stay!

our day was very enjoyable, the room was very clean. Pool area and outdoor cabana restaurant were very clean and the food was delicious there and in the restaurant. I would like to suggest that more hangers be in the room and also maybe a chair for sitting to watch TV so you don’t have to lay in bed the whole time staff was very professional and friendly. See you again soon.

I would not recommend this accommodation. The room was very outdated, none of the amenities were available, we had a large group and were talking quietly outside of our room while enjoying the lake and were told several times by the staff to quiet down while we were barely at a whisper. Also parking was horrendous. For what we paid for this place we were extremely disappointed and everyone in our party ( about 12 rooms) wants to go elsewhere in the future.

The walls are very thin and if you have trouble with stairs, be sure to request a ground level floor. The restaurant is through the galley, in case you are wondering, as I spent 3 days looking for it despite the map. The staff was fine however the “breakfast” included doesn’t include coffee! When I mentioned it at check out, the staff’s response was “well we don’t really have control over the restaurant…”

Room is OK, but no body lotion. I got the body lotion from the front desk. The breakfast is good and fresh. The bar is nice, overlooking the lake.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I was traveling with two teen granddaughters. We had a problem with the hot water and we had an immediate response from the front desk and then an immediate response from the maintenance. The next morning, the hot water again didn’t work so I think this is just a beginning of the season glitch and I’m sure we’ll be fixed. Otherwise, everything about this day was wonderful. Was the chef, Antonio, was fantastic, as was Eugene, with the Wait staff

Loved they had a garage although only 6 foot high it worked for the motorcycle. If I come back again I would stay here again.

The beds were very comfortable. The staff was very polite. I think they should have phones in the room to contact the service desk
