Tiki Resort

Rooms were allotted when the rooms were not even cleaned and ready. Didn't get clean rooms until 6 PM ET. The worst hotel experience that I've had in the US.

The location was important for us and it was a perfect distance to the beach and town, the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and spacious. The bath tub was a huge reason we booked with tiki and it did not disappoint. We were on the 1st floor which couldn't have been better for us since we are always in and out, it was also easy access for bringing our luggage in and out without extra stress. There were some insects inside the room. I understand they do get in through small cracks but there is a big gap under the front door, which made me uncomfortable. We had a big centipede crawling above the bed. The back door did not open or close easily.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Room was clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The pool was well taken care of and my kids and I enjoyed it a lot.

The beds were super comfortable somebody like me that’s disabled. I appreciated that having a good night sleep is mandatory in my opinion. I wish I could have stayed longer. The man of noise that was outside of my room because I was by the door to go in and out

I didn’t see an elevator, but it wasn’t an issue for me. The location is great and within walking distance to Lake George. The room was clean, comfortable, and included a small refrigerator and microwave. I left my wallet in my room and the staff helped to mail it back with my prepaid label. The exterior looks a bit outdated. There was no desk for my laptop, so I had to use the small table instead. Overall, it didn’t feel like a 3‑star hotel to me.

Spacious, comfortable & clean deluxe queen room in the hotel part behind main entrance. Really like facilities that have a coffee/tea bar with real made coffee in urns & tea available complimentary 24/7. The in room pots with powdered cream are not palatable. Like a fresh cup on awakening prior to breakfast & when returning to room late afternoon.

Located close enough to the center of town but not too close. The “hotel” side seemed clean and updated. Unfortunately for us this is not where we were housed after they screwed up our reservation. The “motel” side was extremely dirty, especially the floors! The door did not close properly. The parking area was very tight and there were potholes in the road. There was also no easy way to get to the front desk from the motel area.

Tha hotel stay overall was very nice, and clean, but they need better service when it comes to breakfast, or room service. The small restaurant I guess serves its purpose if u need coffee or muffin on the run. The cook can do better when preparing bacon or sausages, they were burned and shriveled up, the hotel can supply better products with the food and the pool area indoors can be much better. You have to walk down the hall up or down stairs just to get to a restroom, when they should be a part of the pool area along with showers. Whoever built this hotel could have put better thought into it. Overall a good experience.

Location and room for the most part were very good. Comfortable, quiet, decent water pressure. Pleasant staff. Our only yuck factor would be the carpet....no idea how a carpet can get so dirty. Shoes off for a few minutes and could see dirt puddles in shower. They need a good cleaning for sure

So im.not giving poor reviews on the place itself and hopefully can go another time. I booked a 2 night stay and purchased travel care plan just in case. Well I never knew I would need it but I did. I was supposed to go June 13th and ended up in the emergency vets with my pet of 14 years and she ended up passing away and I called the property to get my refund after purchasing my travel plan. They told me it wasn't up to them so I had to call Expedia. Then they talked to them and they offered me 1 night refund. So now I have to file a claim. But why pay for something then have a hard time with both places to get a refund especially after dealing with your animal passing away on top of your birthday the next day. Any other hotel that I had to deal with never gave me this much headache over a refund. Then I wasn't fully refunded for the 1 night at that. Company policy should be made easier for emergencies like that. It would make me wanna come back even more. Such a headache on both ends when dealing with a loss such as this

pool was nice staff was not very nice. someone in the room next to us was smoking weed and hallway stunk.

Location is probably the best thing about this resort. You are a short walk from the steam boat co, fort Williams, and the strip of stores. About 15 minutes to Bolton landing. Beds were comfortable. We did not get room service or even asked if we wanted our room cleaned. I had to call to have stains in the bathroom floor cleaned cause it was not clean. Water pressure was okay. The add we saw made it seem like it was small cottages or cabins that were seperate from a hotel and that was not the case. Service was good when I sought them out but again, had to ask for more towels, have the floor cleaned, to get a new key cards. It was a cute looking resort and the room was spacious. TV and a.c. worked well. Not to mention they tried to charge me 2 times.

The location of this motel is excellent! Very easy to walk to nearby restaurants and into the town. A convention was going on at the end of stay. Very noisy and crowded. It was our last night so it didn't have too much impact.
