Hilton Garden Inn Lancaster

Every hotel I stayed at start serving breakfast either at 6 AM or 6:30 AM. Nothing was said about breakfast not being served till 7 AM when you book hotel. Then when you arrive, they tell you. Then when I checked in the night before I tell the front desk concierge that I need to feed my six and nine-year-old daughters early as we need to leave to get to a Wrestling event by 7;10 am. The manager says that he is aware that a lot of people need to eat breakfast before 7 AM. Then you show up at 6:58 AM and they still don’t even have the food out a little earlier, knowing how many people need to eat before they have to get to a Wrestling event. And the girl that’s behind the food counter very rudely tells you to get out of the food area until she opens it, or she’s gonna charge you extra for taking apples and yogurts after paying $325 a night. My six and nine year-old daughters never got to eat anything hot. Would never have expected to deal with something like this at Hilton honors chain. Spoke to other parents traveling with wrestlers, and they were just as upset that their children couldn’t eat breakfast before spending eight hours at a Wrestling event. They were even upset that their kids couldn’t even swim in the pool the night before because of how early it closed.

Bed was excellent. Total size of the room was small and cramped for even two people. Location was good and easy to get everywhere around Lancaster. Carpet not great. Not enough closet space or drawers.

We didn't spend much time at our hotel so this review only addresses the room. We had a large room with a king sized bed. The room itself was large, dark, quiet, and served its purpose; however it had an odd smell in it. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were kind of flat. The bathroom was clean (would have liked more towels for two people) but overall the room served its purpose. It did include free breakfast, which looked good but we didn't use the free breakfast vouchers.

My stay was great. I love the hotel & it's beautiful gardening. Meal was very good. I had a very friendly greeting from the desk staff. the room was clean & comfortable. I will be sure to book here again when in the area. Nothing

Needed cleaned. Beds were uncomfortable. Staff was ok. Breakfast was not worth the money.

Great stay with my pup! The staff was very accommodating and found me a first floor room for my old dog that can’t make it up stairs and hates elevators. Will be staying here again,

The hotel needs a total renovation or upgrade. The room that we stay the layout is weird. The bed is so hard and pillows is old. My wife the whole night didn’t get enough sleep.

The Lancaster Hilton Garden Inn is always a pleasant stay. Very conveniently located, clean and comfortable. The team at the front desk were very helpful and pleasant as well.

My problem was that there was a strong smell on mildew in the room.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. However the pool and spa was closed for renovations. Was still full pice. Better advertise pool and spa and fitness room closed die to renovations.

Devin at front desk was very helpful. Wait staff at breakfast were great .. friendly. I did not book a handicap accessible room, but that's what I was given. Would have enjoyed a bathtub.

Staff was great. Room was clean. Booked the room online and it never said anything about the pool and amenities being closed for renovation. Otherwise 5 stars. Definitely will go back there.

The room was clean but the breakfast sucked

The breakfast is decent. The overall setting is acceptable. We were very disappointed to find out that the pool and fitness center were under renovation. We should be informed before our booking. The bed felt a little wet. The sliding door needs repair. It a little difficult to open and shut.

room was beautiful staff welcoming and attentive great lobby with bar
