Beautiful location and the property is fabulous. That I had to leave! But, would have loved a bigger bed in the Ariel suite. My husband is big and tall. Otherwise it was great!

Very quiet. Loved the house and veranda. Had to carry my luggage up three flights of stairs.

Seemed to struggle to work.

The stay was beautiful and clean…. Old world charm, quiet and peaceful. Great hospitality and the Inn Keeper was very pleasant and welcoming.

Great bed and breakfast, nice room, nice bathroom, nice breakfast, great staff! There is a small shared refrigerator in the hallway which is nice. I didn't know that I would not be checking in with a person and they sent me instructions via email and not booking.com; so I had no idea how to get in the building after hours. Was very stressful. Coffee is not available in the rooms - you have to go downstairs to the dining room to make it with a Keurig. Breakfast is also not served until 8:30am.

I loved my solo stay here! I came into town one night for a concert and was very happy with the Hollander house. Kenneth was very communicative and attentive via email and easily reachable. I had no issues and everything was nice and clean and easy to find. I wasn’t able to stay for breakfast due to my schedule however, I’m sure it was delicious! Would certainly stay again

The room was great, very spacious, loved all of the antiques. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was nice - there was coffee, juice cereal, yogurt, fruit, eggs and muffins. They did not have any dairy/egg free options, so that was challenging. The location was great, very close to everything we wanted to do. Very beautiful grounds if you wanted to stay on property. If you checked in after 3:00pm, you had to do contactless check in. I didn't know this because this was not communicated through Booking.com. They emailed me the instructions to get in the building which I was unaware of (I didn't check my email 24 hours before I left to leave on vacation). When we arrived at 8:30pm, I was quite panicked because we could not get in the front door and no one answered the door. When we called the number listed at the front door, no answer. Finally, we called the Hollinger House number and the woman on the phone told me that I should have received an email about how to get in the building. I did find the email with the code to get in the building. Getting in the building was not easy either, it took us several tries to get in. It could have been because we were already really stressed but this entire situation could have been alleviated if they had just sent me a message on Booking.com to let me know they sent me an important email about checking in (this is how 99% of the places I book on Booking.com communicate with me - through the app). Although the room was advertised with a coffee maker there is not one in the room - you had to go downstairs to the dining room to get your coffee (from a Keurig which was not easy to use by yourself). It would have also been really nice to know there is a small community refrigerator in the hallway for you to use - we didn't know this and would have really liked knowing that in advance.

Beautiful Victorian everything. Clean, quiet, beautiful views, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and coffee. Nothing. My husband was wondering where the tv was - haha! I brought my iPad and the WiFi worked perfectly.

Attentive management, clean house and rooms.

Great bed and breakfast step back into Victorian times and seep in a restored mansion, fantastic period furniture with a wonderful charm. Kenneth the caretaker prepares wonderful breakfasts and is there for all your needs. he is also very informed about the local area including the history of the house and how the bed and breakfast came to be. Private location with large grounds to relax on from the large porch to the small stream on the property. Definitely would go back and stay again!!

Breakfast was delicious and the location was lovely. The house was decorated beautifully and we enjoyed the games and books in the public rooms. Kenneth was a great and attentive host!
