I encountered issues with the front desk staff, who were quite aggressive about not allowing an early check-in, despite cleaned rooms being ready. I had contacted them in advance to explain that my traveling companion is pregnant and would need accommodations for her situation. However, when I spoke with the front desk clerk, she added an early check-in fee, which was not reflected in my reservation at check-in. They also attempted to charge me an extra $10 for this request. Fortunately, the hotel general manager was on-site, and I was able to discuss my situation with him. He directed the front desk clerk to accommodate us, but she remained very aggressive about the issue. Given these experiences, I will likely not stay at this location again. Also, the complimentary continental breakfast did not include eggs, bacon, or sausage, and we were told there’s an IHOP next to the hotel.

Older hotel that is very dated but clean. They are getting ready to removate. It needs it, but everything was clean and comfortable. Nice atmosphere. Only had coffee for breakfast due to renovation.

Whomever now owns this place needs to put some money into it, it’s too bad because it’s a beautiful building and show the true NM architecture. We will not stay there again, unless it gets remodeled.

The hotel is in need of updating. With that said the staff was amazing and it's clean for the age. The bar and restaurant are closed. That was frustrating since our plan was dinner there. If I had know there was no bar or restaurant, we would have stayed some where else. For the price it was just ok. Staff definitely made it the best possible. In its day, I'm sure it was really something!
