Super 8 by Wyndham Las Cruces University Area

By the time we learned this, it was too late to cancel our reservation. Because it was a holiday weekend, there were no comparable rooms available at nearby hotels. The hotel also had no elevators, so my father struggled to climb the stairs and could have fallen if my sister had not been directly behind him to assist him. In addition, the room was not very clean. My brother-in-law, who was also staying at the hotel with my sister, reported that there were prostitutes outside the property soliciting him, which made us feel even more uncomfortable about the overall experience. Hotels.com offered me $50 in KeyCash, but the hotel refused to provide any type of refund. I believe the hotel was at fault for confirming a mobility-accessible room that was not actually available and for failing to notify us before our arrival. Had we been informed in advance, we would have made other accommodations that were suitable for my father's mobility needs.

Room was so dirty. Bathroom was not clean. Their was alot of public hair all over the bathroom floor. Toilet was disgusting. Bed sheets stained. Chair was so full of hair. Asked for a refund so I can rebook somewhere else and said not refundable. We stayed 3 nights. N they did not clean rooms at all. Couldn't rebook somewhere else cuz their was no rooms available due to 4th of July. Worse hotel I EVERED stayed at.

Our original reservation was given to someone else. When there was a room available, it was poorly cleaned. The ottoman had a disgusting huge wet spot that was promised to be clean and never was. The pillow cases were dirty with make-up and the towels were all stained.

Dislikes: shabby floors and finishes, sticky chair, worst hotel breakfast (only waffles and coffee—no syrup or creamer), loud air conditioning. I suspect that this place contracts to provide housing for homeless and veterans, but a more adequate space should be demanded of the hotel.

we asked for a smoking room but only those were on the third floor, my and my husband could not climb the stairs

Not the most wonderful hotel I've stayed in, but it was functional and got the job done.

The motel was in a very good location for what I need. Also, due to the heat, the hotel staff had ice cold water in aa huge desk for visitors. They even provided cups.

Manager John Belcher definitely getting paid to let people distribute drugs in and on the property specifically third floor. Manager Mr. Belcher seen multiple times exiting and leaving the property when any situation is brought to hes attention I had to email hes boss as well. Room 215 smelled of pee terribly it was so bad it gave me an instant headache ache. Office was unattended housekeeping stole out of the register and tried to charge me an additional day.

Was nice to find a motel that offered 3 beds in 1 room, was perfect for what we needed. Downside is that it was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Did see a cockroach on door frame upon entering. Breakfast options was only coffee and waffle. Bathroom was well worn down, could be made over. Room did offer full fridge/freezer and microwave.

Overall, it was good enough to just relax a bit,, and get some sleep The room had not been cleaned properly and that goes for the remote too, which was sticky and disgusting. Crumbs and dirt here and there. I encountered a cockroach making its way across the bathroom floor. Cracks and damages in several places. Didn't feel like a safe area,, people moving around the motel late at night, making noices. I can not recommend this motel.

I loved there was no bullshit a simple 35 dollar deposit which I got back the night guy was so awesome total made me feel safe the young lady in the morning was awesome great staff !!!!! With a little love this place could easily be a 4 star hotel

Bed was comfortable Water dripping by vending machine, people coming in and out of their rooms slamming their doors all night ppl walking around loud on the above floor all night druggies walking around outside basically at all hours of the night we had trash still in our trash can. A pillow on the bed has stains the towels did too bathroom had hair on the floor breakfast was non existent just coffee and waffles like come on it's a super 8 get it together now I know why the guy at the front desk had a gun!

It's a scam. When I arrived, they asked me for $30 USD in cash for having booked online. They never refunded it.

The front desk staff were absolutely perfect in trying to perform their jobs This was the absolute most dirty hotel room I've ever been assigned. Was given a second room which was marginally better

I think over all the facilities was older but decent it could use some improvements but for the cost it was decent and not dirty. Not any thing

The property didn’t look like the pictures advertised, room was dirty, stained sheets, stained towels, cockroaches, hair in the shower strainer, unclean shower. I like the soap. Rooms need maintenance. And was only serving coffee and waffles nothing else.

It was close to the University. It was filthy. The lobby, the hallways, the rooms. Everything. Cigarette smell everywhere. Floors in our room hadn’t been vacuumed yet n who knows how long. Bathroom was disgusting. Sheets stained. Tv didn’t work. Ac unit was full of dirt and would only work on high. Front desk person was rude. Too much to list here.

Room 111: ceiling over tub had an unrepaired leak and looked as if there was mold. Breakfast consisted of a small waffle maker and a glass pot of coffee. It was served in a room on the first floor two doors from my room. Desk clerk on Saturday morning had really bad BO.
