Great location great hotel staff just everything is good about it

I had a great stay at the Grand, the one big thing that made me give 3 stars is the elevators would take a long time to read your key card which was required to access your floor. Everyone was getting frustrated with this during my stay. If this gets fixed I would definitely consider coming back.

Clean and very spacious room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location.

Got an upgraded room all the staff was amazing. Bar tender Chris was the best and served the best drinks.

Love the grand. Won money. Room was not ready upon arrival. It was early..but I did call ahead to be sure we could checkin early. Hotels.com apparently had us in a different room than I booked. Noise from the gold spike and street was bad. It was the 4th. Understandable

Staff were helpful and the rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. Definitely will be back over and over as it was our anniversary.
-
They had me waiting for an hour because supposedly my room was not ready. How was that my problem?? But when you try to check in early they want to charge you extra. 😠 😡

Every time we stay here it’s wonderful great staff housekeeping on point love everything about this hotel / casino

The restroom light went out during my stay. The elevator got stuck at one point. The restroom towel rack fell off every time it was touched!

The Grand has wonderful, friendly staff. The free covered parking across the street is a great amenity. Many larger Vegas hotels don’t have free (self) or covered parking. Our room wasn’t close to what was shared on Expedia. It was old and in need of update. The pillows and bed were comfortable. But. Sleep was not possible until after 1-1:30am on weekends. The Freemont Street Experience was very LOUD - despite the hotel is a block away. Felt like it was happening in the next room. For those who want to sleep before 1am, find a hotel further away. Food and drinks were quite expensive at the Grand. House coffee was $5 a mug. Of course, to be fair, prices are much higher everywhere in Vegas. Complimentary casino drinks were few and far between. They do offer 6-deck $5 (5/6) Blackjack on week days for those who want to extend play. They had a few game tables and the usual slots. Their Rewards program was a bit weird and not easy to understand. The casino was very dark - even the old Freemont Casino is now bright and inviting. The Grand is a 1/2 block walk to the wonderful Mob Museum… which did not m sound interesting. It was a great experience Every staff member & volunteer were helpful, welcoming and friendly. Great displays and interactive experiences. Highly recommended. Go before 11am to get $7 off entry fee. The museum is housed in the beautiful old Courthouse/Post Office.
