Oasis at Gold Spike

3 days and they never came to clean the room. Plus the room smelled awful

Rooms aren’t cleaned every night - not a big deal. I asked for new towels, but never received them….

Very cool atmosphere

The good things; fun overall vibe, they have an elevator, our room had a new ac unit and a new TV and they offered coffee in the lobby in the mornings (maybe even all day?) the pool area was nice, seemed like there were very few people around while we were there. The bad; it's loud, we heard sirens constantly the first night, probably not the best part of town. The exhaust fan in our bathroom was crazy loud. The room had a pretty strong paint smell (it was 115 degrees out, assuming it was fresh paint. The 2 outside walls were very warm to the touch. I'm guessing that had something to do with the paint smell. The bathroom vanity area was pretty dark, would be nice for more lighting in the sink area. One of the beds had a blood spot on the mattress pad that was noticed when I was remaking the bed.

The rooms were cozy for a one night stay. I wished there was a mini fridge or microwave but overall I enjoyed the bed and pool the most.

Great hotel, clean large rooms, great pool that stays open until 10pm, friendly staff, and outdoor adult playground.

Old school Vegas vibe. No casino, plenty of games in a huge backyard game area.

The motel overall was basic, clean and cute however the property adjacent to it (Gold Spike) has an outdoor bar which BLASTS music until 3 AM and there is ZERO consideration for hotel guests. The staff told me the property has new owners who are bar owners and have not owned a hotel before. That was clearly apparent from night #1. 3 of the 4 nights I stayed there I tried sleeping with ear plugs but it was no use. There is no escaping the pounding music. If want to roll in at 3 or 4 AM and sleep until noon, this will be great for you. If you actually want to sleep, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. It was awful. Such a shame because the previous reviews talked about how quiet the pool area was. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. O out of 5 stars rating because of it.

fun spot to stay at if youre looking for a good time in one place

The gentleman at the front desk was absolutely rude. We got a room with the air not working and the remote to the tv not working. We then had to change rooms.

The property was conveniently located near Fremont Street. There was a concert playing the night that we were staying the very polite front desk asked if we wanted a room overlooking the concert or if we would like something a little further we chose to be further away she did warn us that it would likely be loud. She couldn’t guarantee how loud I like that she was so honest parking is included with the room, which is great however because where located the parking lot is a public parking lot and often full we had to walk a few blocks away to park. That was a little inconvenient. The front desk again was amazing in the situation. She offered us parking lots nearby. They did reimburse us a portion of what we had to pay at a different lot. Great customer service.The bathroom shower looked a little old and dingy. But it’s Fremont Street. It was an affordable room so can’t complain too much. You get what you pay for overall decent experience

Thank you so much I enjoy my first stay at The Oasis. Room was great. Pool was a big bonus. Staff got me checked in and out quick (personally I like). I will stay again after the summer.

I had an amazing stay at the Oasis. The receptionists and security guards made my stay a pleasure too. They were friendly and helpful. Thank you to the staffs who made it memorable for me!
