Oasis at Gold Spike

Oasis is a whole vibe. The rooms are very basic, tv did not work, parking is free- but a nightmare if you leave and have to come back to park. The shower is hot and has great pressure. The on site club doesn’t really kick off until about 12:30-1:00am, so the bass and music is loud during sleep time. Most of the rooms do NOT have a refrigerator, so be prepared to buy a cheap cooler or be real thirsty. Definitely suggest that you stay in the rooms across from the pool & not above the club. This is not an all adult property as it allude to, so there will be kids at the pool. The pool is nice, but the concrete deck is gross and appears as though it doesn’t ever get cleaned. If you’re looking for a cheap stay close to Fremont and the highway, this is an ideal spot. Otherwise, spend the extra $100-$150 and find somewhere else

Second stay her. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool is well maintained with lots of loungers. The Gold Spike is an adult playground vibes and good drink specials. The gym is small but has enough dumbbells and other equipment to get a good workout. Only issue is the chair in our room could be dangerous to elderly or unexpected guests as the front support legs are a little set back from the front. This caused the chair to tip forward if you sit on the very edge.

I really enjoyed my stay, the space was clean and had all I needed during my stay. I wish I would’ve been informed about the option of staying in the rooms outside of the club building. The image I was shown online only showed the outside rooms and I wasn’t given an option online to choose those rooms instead. I did however enjoy my stay and would return !

The staff was very helpful. This was my second time staying here and it never disappoints.

The first night of the stay the power went, which was not their fault. 2 blocks had no power but what is their fault it was we got kicked out of the pool when there was no power no AC so we had to deal with the heat with it was 100° heat and the person that kicked us out was extremely rude about it I would spend the extra dollars to stay at a different place next time don’t forget about the noise. I would stay from 10 to 3 in the morning. There’s a nightclub in the hotel directly below the room. So if you’d like to sleep go somewhere else. and they really crank up the music too, where the windows are shaking and we were on the fifth level

When checking in we were sent to another building. This building has a pitch black night club underneath the hotel rooms. It was night the busy, happening type of night club. Few dozen people at 11:00 pm. Security was patting down guests. Terrible vibe. Didn’t feel safe. We made it to our room, which was fine, nothing special. Walked to Fremont found a room for our stay and proceeded to check out of Oasis. We were told we would receive a refund through Expedia and she understood why we were uncomfortable. Yet to be seen if this happens.

Loved it! Great staff! Super helpful! Great parking! Was well worth it. There was a nightclub down stairs but war plugs provided were awesome. Definitely will be going back.

Close to everything ,freemont . Lights went out in the morning ,club underneath the room we stayed was the worst .

Starting badly with the parking, there wasn’t any available for registration cause they were full for their club which is the first floor. We were on the 6 th floor so the music was bad the first night but Saturday night I could definitely hear the music. The room was clean but the tv wasn’t working into my friend fixed a wire in the modem. There’s no amenities like microwave, mini fridge or even an iron in the room. But there is an iron in the gym on the second flier, the gym room is nice/clean but getting there is weird. The second floor has dirt rugs and chipped walls but the worst was the smell. It was like wet dog and old milk. It was def inexpensive but for a little bit more money, you can find much better quality. But the staff was really nice, everyone we talked to were friendly shhh that’s the only plus

I loved the room and location. The power went out in the middle of the night. No air on a hot summer night and no lights to take a shower. No power for hours!

How do Yoi book a room and be woke up sweating because there is no power ...I understand things happen. But the attitude and just the overall with staff is totally unacceptable I want to request a refund...Im leaving my room too hot What I like was the access to good food ..Security hell of rude I stay here not a bum of the street

Everything Nothing

Very nice & enough away from Fremont that it was pleasant at night. The only thing we thought the pool was also 21+ , but at 9am therewas kids yelling around the pool area. 😕

I liked the access to the bar-un from the hotel. The Gold Spike Tower not the oasis. We had a pool side room on Saturday and the room shower got clogged and caused the shower the fill up. We could not shower after that. We did get moved quickly to the gold spike tower which was great but we really wanted pool side.
