Clean room, elevator stopped working a few times requiring a few trips down the stairs but other than that it was great. Staff very friendly and helpful.
-
Great location, newly renovated. Pillows and beds aren’t the comfiest but the AC is bumping and the casino floor has great vibes
-
Our stay was almost perfect, once of the elevators was not working and we would have to wait a long time to get up to our hotel and down from our room due to being able to only use one elevator other than that our stay was great
-
beds were not comfortable airport shuttle is more like a limited run van than a shuttle with no options sound travels through the walls of nearby clubs never got a good nights sleep slots were super tight had better luck at other nearby properties food options are limited too many homeless outside to feel safe walking around

El Cortez was priced decently, We went to get married and enjoy 4th of July our ceremony day, there was nothing extra given for our stay at the El Cortez. The front desk lady didn't seem to care wen I mentioned we were getting married, and even gave us wrong directions to our room. They did accommodate our service dogs well enough and the owner whom my fiance and I happen to run into was nice and helpful, had a worker show us the way to our room. Wish the room had a microwave, only had a fridge. I was Not pleased that the outside of our cabana resort had big 3 to 4 inch sewer roaches running around outside and there was even a big like 3 inch roach in our cabana room all the way up on the 4th floor. My now husband got his phone stolen from their casino as well. Security was kind of helpful but definitely not useful. I would not book the El Cortez casino hotel again. The roach did it in for me and a stolen phone.

Gambler’s spot for sure !

Stayed once again in the original 47. We absolutely love the property and location off the Fremont Experience; however, I knew it was going to be loud during the Fourth of July but not like it should have the party inside the room, lol. Not bashing it at all because I knew what I was getting into but damn…love you El Cortez! Will continue to stay when in town.

Room was very clean. Elevator broke for a short time, but staff was very helpful in getting us upstairs.

I stayed on the fifth floor smoking room , the balcony that ran around the whole floor was great for watching the fireworks and interacting with the other guest was very much fun the whole stay was great except the elevator kept breaking down so I had to use the stairs which wouldn’t of been a problem except I’ve had in the past multiple surgeries on both feet and one knee replaced and am in a bit of discomfort due to not being able to use the elevator. But beside that I am definitely coming back to stay here just had the most fun ever in Las Vegas only place I really want to stay from now on. Just please fix the elevators.
-
Very easy to sign in cleanliness even though 1 elevator worked still good Great location accessibility to bus and a lot of nearby shops restaurants

Everything is fine except when i check in and check out. I normally tide a motorcycle and the staff in the parking area seem to not allow me to park and check at the front desk leaving a motorcycle where they allow everyone with cars. They because me very rude claiming that the owner does not want any motorcycles at the property due to some issue with a motorcycle rider in the past.

Will not stay here no more
-
In summary, it was a good value, but considering that the El Cortez sits on its own three blocks from Fremont Street, I would rather stay closer to the action so I can walk to four or five different casinos.
-
We stayed on the "old" side of hotel..room was clean and comfortable with antique furniture, comfortable bed. Only downside for us was no shower hose, not an issue for some but difficult for us oldies for rinsing well. I would definitely stay again. Valet needs a shoutout as well, they did an amazing job for a crazy night in Vegas..July 3rd busy busy busy but we didn't wait but a couple minutes for our car.
-
Great Stay very quite lil rooms luved the location and staff!!
-
Room was clean but did not like having to go across the street to the cabana rooms.
-
Loved the property! The only thing was one of the elevators was out of order for our whole trip which caused a bottleneck with only one working elevator but other than that I will definitely stay at el Cortez again every time I visit Vegas
-
Great stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful, and everything was easy from check-in to check-out. I would definitely stay here again.
