I wish I could say the room was clean, but I found a few bugs behind the chair, dirt on the carpet and around the sit at mirror. Other than that the staff was very awesome, helpful,friendly and caring. Overall my stay was very good

No bathtub, only a shower. Walking thru the casino, the whole downstairs was extremely smoke-filled from people smoking cigarettes &/or gambling. To get to the guest rooms, the elevators lead to hallways outside along a side walkway/balcony. I would never recommend staying at El Cortez hotel. I didn’t like it, and I didn’t want to walk outside on the hot walkway/balcony, super hot even at night time because summertime in Vegas is unbearably hot. This hotel seemed low-class and icky.

The new upgrades to the rooms and casino are so amazing! We hardly left the property our whole stay.

Stayed in the Cabana suites. They are very well updated and very quiet, which is huge downtown. The staff and the vibe are great! Met the Owner, Kenny Epstein, while there and he was incredibly gracious and down to earth. Also won both days there, and Met Vegas Matt! Totally recommend!
