Proximity to beach and bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly too.

The location was perfect. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach , restaurants, or shopping. Staff was very accommodating. Offered early and late checkout if needed. Provided beach towels and beach chairs upon request. The pool was clean.

Location was good for walking to explore the area. We only stayed one night prior to a cruise. Needs updating, especially the bathroom- quite old and vanity in need of repair. Beds were so-so. Community microwave outside our door made it awkward to have curtains open. Maybe some rooms are in better condition- ours needed attention. Costly for what it was- but area is pricey

Old school Florida. Older property but well taken care of. It’s close to the center of Lauderdale by the Sea with many restaurants and the beach close by. Having a kitchenette was handy and the pools and hot tub are nice. There is a lot of street noise because the hotel is on Highway A1A. We wish one of the buildings was designated non smoking because there were many cigarette smokers around our room and it made it difficult to sit near our room.

The gardens are beautiful, the staff was amazing, the outdoor areas with pools are very well maintained. Everything was walkable to beach & Lauderdale by the Sea restaurants & shops.
