La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lawton / Fort Sill

We visited for our son's Army Basic graduation at Fort Sill. The location was perfect to spend family day at the hotel and be close enough for travel there and back and to surrounding establishments. The room was clean- a little outdated but clean. The pool area was nice but there were never any towels so we constantly had to ask for them. The staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet switched it up each day which was nice and offered a good variety. The only complaint I would have is the gym they advertise leaves a lot to be desired. They advertise a cable weight machine which was not working as the cables were all snapped. They also had a treadmill that didn't work. So the only equipment you could use was an elliptical and bike. We will be back for our son's AIT graduation in January and will probably stay again!

Very disappointing and unacceptable experience. The bathroom floor was covered in hair, the shower drain was almost completely blocked, and the sink had very weak water pressure. The Wi-Fi was advertised as fast but was extremely slow, and reception said they couldn’t do anything about it. The room key card stopped working more than 3 times during our 3-day stay. The elevator was extremely dirty and covered in dog drool. Even worse, we had the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, yet room service still entered our room. Overall, poor cleanliness, poor maintenance, and poor service. Definitely not worth the stay.

Close to the Army Base! My room was clean and comfortable. I was worried about bedbugs because some other reviews mentioned them, but thankfully, my room was completely free of bugs. The complimentary breakfast was decent The air conditioner took a long time to cool the room. The shower had low water pressure, and the curtains were old and torn. The room also had a slightly unpleasant smell, somewhat like cigarette smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. The building itself is quite old and could use some updating.

I couldn't tell you a out breakfast cause after seeing my room and telling staff it was hot in the room and it smelled of marijuana,and they paid no attention. I was certainly not going to eat there. Everything.There was no house keeping done to room.Beds were like sleeping on boards pool was badly kept and it smelled like marijuana.I will never stay there ever again.i would rather sleep in my car!!!

Staff was great, hotel was pleasant and comfortable. We were happy with our king bed with pullout couch room. Accommodation was great for our stay l. Breakfast thumbs up. Would definitely recommend.

Awful through and through, I will never be back. This was by far the worst Wyndham hotel I've ever stayed at. I'm a Wyndham Gold Member but booked through hotels.com this time and it was by far the worst hotel stay through the booking site in all my years as well. Dirty & Broken everything, black mold in the bathroom, busted my rear on the elevator floor where staff didnt bother to clean up and yes they knew because they put a sign up in the hallway. The breakfast was awful and I didn't have great expectations honestly. There was 1 friendly housekeeper I spoke to in the hall and 1 friendly staff member at the desk. The others were terribly unresposive or rude and unprofessional.

The staff and breakfast. Convenient. This location needs remodeling. The AC units are old and loud. I stay there often and many of the showers are barely working.

The toilets are too low. Need to be changed to 17 inch.standard.
