The HVAC system wouldn’t cool the room and made a lot of odd noises. It woke me up at 12:30am and I was so hot that I was soaked. My husband as well. The refrigerator was also being noisy all night. I finally fell asleep at 4:30 only to wake at 6 when my alarm rang. I didn’t call the desk because I knew that maintenance doesn’t work in the middle of the night. My 5 hour drive back home the next day was misery. I wont be back unless something in the hotel. We stay in league city 1-2 times a month for 1-5 days per stay for two years now and won’t stop any time soon. The extra $ for the Hampton next door ensures a good night sleep.

After a disappointing booking, and refund in Texas City. We were able to book this room, greatly appreciated. The hotel was above par, and great service. Would stay again if we are in the area again.

The bathroom had mold on the wall and general need of maintenance. The staff was great and gave me another room. Unfortunately, the room service was knock g on my door at 9:15am when checkout was 11am. Overall, I would not choose to stay at this location in the future. So far Candlewood Suites in 2 different location have fare poorly in my experience.

Staff was helpful and friendly! Hotel maintenance needs improvement. There were bugs in the kitchen area and bathroom floor. Worst offense was the shower was not functional …...the knob to pull up for the shower function was not attached to the plumbing so only the tub was available! I don’t do tubs and was very difficult to lower myself to wash my hair. This is unacceptable. So, Candlewood Suites, fix the shower in Room 302!

Roaches in room - multiple. Smelled moldy and gross. Ac didn’t work. They mixed up my reservation with someone else’s so I got locked out of my room.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is not a breakfast set up there. Pool was clean. This is a dog friendly hotel. Bed was comfortable.

The only good thing about the hotel was the location and the friendly staff.

The place has an odor. Maybe it's the chemicals used to clean, maybe it just smells.

Handicap seat for pool broken unusable Towels were a disgrace too small Room smelled mustard not taken care of til much later Front desk people hid behind partition and were not seen unless called I wouldnt recommend this hotel unless you couldnt get in to a nearby one and needed to stay in this area

The room was nicely kept and well stocked. It was an older building and smelled weird.

The shower was wonderful. By biggest test was the bed- super comfy and the pillows were fantastic- like down. My biggest gripe was that there was only one nightstand. The light, of course, was over that so sitting in bed with a drink was impossible. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Quiet. Pretty happy about the stay altogether for the price!

Our room was beyond filthy! The floors turned our feet/socks black. The smell of the room was awful! What was the worst part? The ROACHES!!! The bathroom had small baby roaches crawling around. The tv's are very old and outdated, all are, whether they're the Samsung brand or not, old tvs. The AC didn't work that well either. The smell in our room was so strong from whatever they used to clean it was hard to deal with. The smell of the elevator was pretty rough as well. They only havev1 nightstand which is very inconvenient when more than one person is in the room. The cart to bring in luggage on was so dirty it looked like someone had brought car motors in on them. We will not stay here again. The roaches & nasty floors was enough for us.
